Well. Christmas morning the wife… I mean Santa.. was REALLY good to me. I was blindfolded and walked to these two beautiful 2017 570 SP’s.
We are first time ATV owners and are beyond excited. We spent a few hours casually riding them around to start the break in process. Gotta say, we absolutely love them. The digital gauge is amazing, active handling, engine breaking, these babies are smooth. I’m absolutely stunned how quiet these actually are.
I’m looking for a winch and am having difficulty deciding if I should get a Polaris or a Warn. I have heard great things about warn, and nothing really on the Polaris. The plan is to also purchase a plow. What I noticed is that the Polaris frame for the snow plow hangs a little low and it’s permanently inently mounted on the frame, while the wren frame doesn’t hang any lower. The model I saw this on was a 2016 and the guy at the dealership wasnt sure if the 2017 was the same. Anyone have an idea? Any input if I should go with warn or a Polaris?

I bought a non running 04 sportsman 600 and it is a mess. I got the new CDI for it as I was told that is the only thing wrong with it but I was robbed and lied to ( all my fault for being a sucker).
I took the carb apart and gave it a good inspection and good cleaning as per the service manual. I even set the float exactly like they said and the mixture screw to 2 1/2 turns out. Nothing leaks when the carb is in hand with fuel to it but when I mount the carb on the quad and go to fire it up it seems like it sucks all the gas into the motor and hydro locks it up and soaks the plugs. I can get it to run for a few seconds on its only with a tiny bit of gas and starting fluid but if I simply just hook up the gas ffed line it will just suck it all into the motor during cranking.
A side note:for fuel hook up to test if it would run or not I only had a gravity feed line forma funnel hooked up and not the fuel pump, does this matter a the fuel pump draws vacuum from the head?
Any step by step tips you guys can help me with to use as a checklist to trouble shoot this so I can avoid going to buy a new carb off Amazon for $100?
I have sunken so much money into misc parts so far to get to this point and want to avoid any further senseless spending if I can.
BTW, I can’t believe how dishonest the seller was about this quad, he seemed so genuine but totally gave me a nightmare and its my fault for trusting anyone.

hello everyone, I’m looking for a fuel pack that’s worth owning. I have a 17 850 max xt-p with a little over 5 gallon tank, I don’t want to worry about gas half way through a ride.:th_smiliepissed: I heard some leak badly and don’t want to play that game. Any suggestions? TY DKinNH
Hello, I am replacing the bushings on the front A arm on my 2010 sportsman 500 touring. I ordered new OEM bushings. When I removed the old parts I can see the stock metal spaced (the hollow bar the bushings press on to) seem to have grooves cut into them. At first I thought they were worn, but it looks like they are machined this way?
Other than the grooves they appear to be serviceable. Can anyone confirm they come from Polaris with machined grooves and not a smooth outer surface? Thanks.
Anyone noticed how wobbly the headlights are in the 2016’s came up with a fix that takes almost all the wobble out and looks better as it fills in the gap between the light and plastic

So I have searched and searched and I can’t find anything that fits the problems I am having. My fuel pump works….but only at a low idle. As soon as you Rev the engine fuel pump stops. Have constant power to pump verified with test light. Pump will not work hooked directly to battery so I am figuring the pump is bad but I just wanted some reassurance since it does work at an idle. I know it is a weird problem so I am asking you guys in hopes you have more knowledge about this than I do
