I do have one request. Does anyone have instructions for the glacier pro plow mount for part # 2879633. I can’t seem to figure out where one spring goes. Thank you. Matt

’96 Fourtrax 300 – kick start after cam chain install question
I just changed the cam chain in my ’96 Fourtrax 300 2×4, put everything inside the clutch cover back together, and installed the cover. Before I put the rocker box back on, and before I filled it with oil, I wanted to check to make sure the kick starter and everything else inside the cover was working; however, when I pushed on the kick starter, it seems only to free wheel the clutches, but not the crankshaft (which is what I saw it doing before I replaced the cover). My question is, do I have to also fill it with oil, and put the rocker box back on before the kick starter will work, or should I stop where I am, take the cover off, and look around? I’m sure I put everything back together correctly, so I’m not sure what the issue is unless this is normal given I haven’t completed the job just yet.
Thanks.

Deep Lug Power Wheelchair Tires
I never use the chair indoors so no need to keep sub-par tires on it (in terms of traction). Could not find any deep lug power chair specific tires to fit. So came across these that fit my rims for width and diameter. They’re for roto tillers as far as I know. Before and after pics.
Please though, no "hey have you seen this track/tank chair / off road chair?" etc. If those things were so awesome, then you guys would have those too and not a Grizzly. I can ride a Grizzly too so that’s where I put my $$$. Just looking forward to much improved traction on the average chair.

2016 Polaris 570 Hard Starting and Stalling Issue.
In August 2016 I purchased my first ATV a 570 Polaris Sportsman with the intention of using it for work around the house and Plowing in the winter (Ohio Resident). I am no master mechanic, But I have build several high performance Jeeps and Trans Ams. I am big into the LSX engines. I just wanted to post this up for anyone who was experiencing the same issues and looking for possible resolutions.
My 2016 Polaris 570 is (was) having a couple issues. I will address them one at a time. The issues are:
1. Hard starting both hot and cold starts.
2. Stalling at idle when i give it gas.
Th first issue i wanted to address was the hard starting:
Initially I wanted to blame it on a loose bolt in the charging system (I have recently installed a Super Winch Terra 35). After re tightening all the bolts everything seemed fine. Still had hard starting issue.
Next i checked the air filter looked new as the day as I bought it. Moving on I checked the sparked plug looked a little wet possibly fouled. So after some research I chose to go to an iridium spark plug (NGK PN# CR8EIX). Installed the plug no difference in the hard starting issue.
At this point I’m kinda scratching my head. I had ruled out fuel due to it being brand new (mistake). But knowing that like a lot of things it can be bad out of the pump I put some stabilizer in it. Let it sit for about ten min, ran it for about 10 min. let it cool down and it started right up.
So, after a little research through the forum I have decided an ethanol free gas is for me. Overall I feel like it will provide better performance as well as longevity.
My Second issue was the stalling as soon as i give it gas at idle:
This issue was sporadic at best usually happening after it had idled for more than a couple minutes or leaving on an incline. I consulted both the forums and the owners manuel. Again after much research I decided it was likely related to the throttle contactor. I immediately noticed my thumb throttle had probably 1in or more of play prior to engaging the throttle. Big red flag off the rip. Polaris suggest 1/16in-1/8 in play in the throttle cable. Adjusted the throttle cable and seems like my stalling at idle issues are gone. While not confirmed fully I was able to ride for about an hour today with no issues.
If anyone needs any advice with the Super Winch Terra 35 LMK i would be more than happy to provide ya with the information.
Thanks for reading!
