None of the search options work for me. I can type in the general search at the right of the page but neither my enter button or the go do anything. Also when I post pictures they always come in sideways. I don’t tilt the phone to take them or save them in any weird way. When I try to use the Search this forum button the little window pops up on the right side of the page but when I move the cursor into it, it disappears
was thinking about a set on chains for better traction on icy trails/roads . I know motorcycle racers who raced on ice put sheet metal screws in their tires . Anyone ever tried that on your Grizzly?

I’m having an electric start issue – on my previous bike it was the brushes which needed done, assuming it was same with this bike I’ve taken it apart, put new brushes in, but still no joy.
There is no clicking, not a peep at all when i push the start button. Bike has a new battery which is fully charged and tests ok, connections are clean and tight.
Any suggestions?
I guess wiring the battery straight to the starter would be a good move – to see if its a dead motor?
We planned a New Years Eve all day ride for weeks and sure enough it rained all weekend hard , we didn’t let it stop us , we started at 9:30 am for the 10:00am LSU kick off , we made 5 rides in the rain , I rode in the rain a lot of times and I am prepared for it , waders and a military issue Gortex rain jacket , it was 72 degrees that night so temp wasn’t a problem , it was really bad , lighting and heavy down pour , the wife and all the other women wouldn’t ride and she was mad at me for going out in such terrible weather , but we had 16 bikes and a UTV that took off into the darkness on the final 12:00 ride , the UTV flips over in a hole and sucked water in the engine and was a dead dog , an Artic Cat tried to pull it back to the black top and couldn’t do it , my buddy has a Can-Am 570 which he just installed 28 inch Outlaw 2’s a couple of rides ago , he pulled that UTV thru every mud hole back there , I was impressed , so he gets back with the 570 and has a new truck which is really high up there , the new tires are much wider and only half the tire hits the ramps as the ramps are not wide enough for the new tires , he slides off the ramp and flipped that Can_Am with all 4 sticking straight up , broke the Can-Am optional snorkel kit off the bike , and sure enough they don’t sell pieces to the snorkel kit and he would have to buy a whole new kit to get the inlet flange and screen , he tells me he welded it with a plastic welder and it is all back together and not bad , I have not seen it yet
so my adventure of the night was having to pee with waders and a rain jacket in the rain which isn’t fun , so I get left behind at a pee stop , that crew I ride with for the most part will leave you , I hit some splits in the trails but couldn’t tell which way they went by the water being bubbled up as it was raining so hard , spent an hour by myself looking for them and never did find them till I got back to the house , I tried calling a few of them a few times and good thing I have a LifeProof case on my phone cause it was wet , so I would ride a bit and turn off the bike and radio and try to hear them running , it was raining so hard I couldn’t hear crap , it was so dark with the lights off you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face , so I got a little worried about getting stuck on the way out and not being able to get thru on the phone and having to walk out , the 300 pulled me thru , that ride was in the top 2 worst weather rides I ever been on
we got 5 inches of rain yesterday , I can only imagine what it is going to be like this weekend coming and they are predicting 40’s for the high temps , should be intersting
I stopped by the flea market on New Years Eve , and looking thru a box of old rusted tools I found a very unusual wrench that could come in handy working on my 4 wheelers , it’s a 41mm hammer wrench , which is the size of the 300 axle nuts , sanded and painted it up , got it for $3 —–what’s the chances of that !
