I see alot of you guys ride in some pretty cold and adverse conditions, so it got me to wondering, what does everyone wear when the temperature dips down into the 20’s and lower?
I’ve ridden in the teens before here in KY, and I thought I was dressed for it, but still got cold. Mainly my hands.

I’m thinking about trying to adapt the Spectre 8148 3" air duct flange to the airbox so I can use a clamp-on filter and eliminate the sealing problem as some have done on older grizzes. My question is I’m new to EFI and I know the rubber intake comes into the box a few inches for some reason, is it going to mess things up if it is cut off at the edge of the box? Didn’t know if this would alter the fuel programming.

Bought a 2002 400EX a few months back and noticed the rear axles had a couple of washers on each side. Figured it was someones attempt at making it wider.
When I went to remove them it turns out the axle splines are too long and the axle nut won’t cinch down.
As far as I can tell they are all factory parts. Looking through the parts diagram it doesn’t look like there should be any spacers here, so what am I missing? Almost like the wheel flanges are too short. This is where they would need to be for the axle nut to work.
