predator dies with lights on

I recently purchased a 2004 Polaris predator, great machine very powerful and handling is good, went on a night ride and after a few minutes the bike just died. as I sat there the fan would kick on and off, but wouldn’t start back up. then finally I turned the lights off gave it a few seconds and bike fired right up, when I got back to camp I checked the battery level and it was fine. since then I have ridden the bike many times never a problem. till the other day I was in the dunes and turned on the lights on by mistake. bike just died again. I turned the lights off and bike started again. ive checked all the connections and everything seems ok. does anyone know what the problem is? thanks:beerchug:

new RV ST tire Goodyear Endurance availability

Discount Tire,

Looking for a bit more information regarding GOODYEAR ENDURANCE tires.

I understand this is a new tire by Goodyear intended for trailers with tires that carry the ST designation. Some important claimed features which is drawing me to the tire: USA made, higher speed rating and lower heat resistance.

Reason for my post is I’m hitting the replacement age on my current set of travel trailer tires, they are going to by 6 years old this spring, and my trailer has a GVWR of 9500 lbs, loaded weight being between 8500 – 9000 lbs.

My question is about availability of this tire since it seems recently announced. Is it currently available and if not, any idea when it will become available? The DT website indicates the tire is special order but I’m curious if it is even available yet or should I be looking at something else? I’m looking at this tire for replacement coming up this April.

88 Fourtrax 300 4×4 water/engine issues

I do a lot of river riding When I hit water too fast and it splashes up on the engine the engine wants to cut out and die. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it. Doesn’t do it when I am crossing in deep water its more when I hit a shallow area fast and the water splashes up.

Also in air filter change should you coat the foam with oil?

Thanks

Hello From New Brunswick

Hey everyone,
I’m new to this site, but not new to atv forums. I’ve been on a few such as Nyroc, Kawi Riders, RZR forums, Suzuki Forums and ATV Riders Forums. I’ve been riding for over 30 years and have had several dirt bikes, atvs and one sxs.
My wife and I each have a Grizzly 700 EPS, hers is a 2011 Green, and mine is a 2014 SE Tactical Black. We haven’t had any issues yet but I thought I’d join this forum just to read up on what others are doing, recommending and saying to avoid. It never hurts to educate oneself on your ride.
I live in New Brunswick , Canada and I enjoy riding year round.

Grizzly 700 size

Hi guys!

Im soon getting myself a "new" grizzly 700FI 2007 model.
I need new tires to stock rim. I have found some ITP Mudlite XL in 26×10-12 and 26×12-12 barely used.

Can anyone recommend these tires? And about size, there will be no problem thinkin about clearance ect? The Grizz 700 will runs these fine without any mod needed?

Best regards

Hello from future Can-Am owner

Hello everyone,

I’m new to the forum and don’t even own an ATV yet, but have kind of decided on an Outlander for my first and maybe last purchase.
I live in western Montana and my plans for the toy…er, I mean, utility vehicle…are driveway plowing and summertime trail riding, nothing technical or extreme. My body is not up for those things.
I’ve read a lot of comparison articles between brands and Can-Am seems the most reliable, plus they look fantastic.
There’s certainly bound to be a lot of knowledgeable people here and I’m looking forward to talking with you and getting better informed.

Joe
