93 Honda 300ex running issues/oil leak

So my problem is my quad will crank but won’t start, it will only start if I pump the throttle a bunch of times then it will start but runs rough for a bit then dies. I can ride it around but as soon as I stop it dies, I’m thinking the carb is the issue, maybe it just needs to be taken apart and cleaned but figured I would ask and see what everyone thought, also my motor leaks oil out of the bottom end, I think it’s just a bad gasket, how hard is it to change the gasket in these quads? The quad mods are bored 30 over, has an aftermarket exhaust and a custom air intake. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hey everyone, I have a 1993 Honda 300ex, only mods are it’s been bored 30 over and has an air intake and slip on exhaust. Also have a Honda TRX 50 (not sure of the year) with a 125cc Lifan motor conversion w kick start and no plastics. Pics included of both

can am skid plates for 2017 outlander

Hi All
I’m taking delivery of my 2017 outlander 850 xtp which was suppose to get full aluminum skid plates. The dealer just stated they had to use plastic on the back trailing arms because the aluminum didn’t fit.

Has anyone else heard of this issue? I’m assuming the dealer is correct but it would be nice to have some confirmation from others.

Did something stupid , need advice please

So I rebuilt the carb on my 86? 250 Trail boss and hooked up a jumper box to start and run it. It was running great so I took a little cruise around the yard with the jumper box tied down. Hit a bump, jumper box fell, the leads made contact and immediately the engine quit. Now I have no spark, so obviously I blew something out by shorting the battery leads. Any idea what it could be?
