I have a 2014 Foreman 500, it’s snowing here in NC and I was out riding around and then the motor started making a weird ticking noise then 20 min later on my ride back the fourwheeler shut off my screen and light all stayed on but the motor shut off and wouldn’t start what could be the problem.

My first cousin has been full of questions lately about my new Grizz and how I like the dealership that sold it to me. I knew something was up when he asked if he and his brother can ride "her". I have my Commander XTRs (tracks) on so it is like a tank, just point’er and go! Long story short he tried mine for a good 4 hours and when he returned he had a grin from ear to ear. I asked him if he got stuck, he just smiled and said "Nope, try as I might , I couldn’t stick her!" My dealer also sells Suzuki and Polaris……………………… he tried them both he was not impressed by either but the Polaris you had no choice but to use low if you didn’t wanna burn the belt, trust me, he tried!! (tracks on) He went up the road and tried a Can-Am Outty 1000 XTP, he loved the power and ride but the price was stupid high! So he finally bought a Grizz after much thought!!

P.S. He owns a 350 Honda Rancher, not much oomph but tough as nails!

Recommendations on a good reliable winch? Also which is the best mounting bracket to use? And does all the wiring come with your winch or is that something you have to buy separately? Looking at getting one real soon. Thanks

What’s your favorite mod? I’m looking to add more to my machine (2017 outlander xmr 1000r) so far I’ve got duel exhaust and I put in a epi mudder clutch kit. Looking for suggestions, I’m waiting on hmf for a fuel tuner. I contacted them and was going to buy one but turns out that 2016 to 2017 fuel mapping is different. So I’m waiting on them to figure that out and I’ll have that. Excited to hear what you guys have to say.

Just put on some new handlebar warmers from cycle country and I’m stuck at the wiring part. There is an included on/off/low/high push button toggle switch. NO thumb warmer.
Instructions state ‘connect the blue wire to the negative battery terminal’ which would go to the black wire on the battery. The other wire on the battery is red.

Right so far?

The only other wire is grey and should be ‘connect grey (positive) to a switched power source’.
This grey wire is right next to the blue one and not at all very long.
My questions:
1) how do they expect me to connect such a short wire to a switched power source?
2) what is a switched power source?
3) can I connect it directly to the battery?

So far I’ve routed all cables into the pod then the two power wires down to beside the battery BUT NOTHING IS CONNECTED YET.

Put a set of Apache 360 tracks on my outlander 650 max xt. Great system. Love it so far.

Put about 20 miles on snow machine trails and it worked great. Most of the snow was some what packed by previous machines traveling through before me. But I took it off in some loose stuff about 2′ deep and it did great.

Very steep ice hills are also no problem. Flys right up them.

Anyone have issues getting stuck in really deep soft stuff? I live in AK so by deep I mean the kind of snow that causes you to sink waste deep if you step of your snow machine. Sometimes the temps are very cold, more than -20 below zero, and the snow can be very soft and powdery.

I’m new here…. I recently purchased a 15 polaris sportsman 1000 xp. I’ve read a lot of posts concerning the exhaust/heat issues… I’ve already purchased a PCV now looking for new muffler…. and recommendations?? Please include why you feel your choice is a good one… thanks in advance for your input
