Hello guys im posting for a buddy who has a 2002 honda rancher 350 4×4 that has very very low miles i mean low as in 65 miles never been out the shed. Well i know when i say this ima get the same answer i gave him……
He had carb issues so got one off amazon from caltric china varb ima take it cause the carb heater kept blowing the 10 amp ignition fuse. Adjusted the pilot screw to 1 3/4 turns out from lightly seated well here in sc its 32 degrees real feel with wind chill is 23 degrees
So we started it today and the exhaust glows light red at the neck where it mounts to head ive tryed adjusting carb and nothing changed now he did not have this problem 3 weeks ago before he changed the factory carb and also when i took the carb off to check it out more in my hand i noticed the insluater was super wet with gas and the air box side of carb was wet as well so i told him pay the 250 for a oem carb. Just wanted to see y’alls opinion on it
Love my QSC Predator primary clutch. BUT when using the engine brake down steep hills it wants to ‘freewheel’ when going below 2-3mph.
I read somewhere: "If you’re worried about the engine braking at 2-3 mph letting go, the QSC has a one way bearing that will keep it engaged like stock."
If this is true where can I get this one way bearing? And how hard is it to install?

Got about 6" of snow today. Finally got to use the 4wd and snow plow. Extremely happy with how well the grizzly did! Although it was a dry snow still happy with how easy it was to move the snow!!
Trying to remove starter from 86 trail boss. On 86 pull start cup needs to be removed (it is behind recoil pull start unit and bolted to crankshaft ). Is bolt reverse thread,or just installed at a high torque setting ? Do not want to break bolt off in crank. Any info is appreciated.
Just looking to install the front rack extender, seems to be a real tight fit with the front box…anyone have experience with this in past with some friendly advise to get this installed? My rack came with no instructions, just the 4 screws….thanks.
Has anyone ever ran super swampers? I decided not to got 12s all around. So it’s come down to 27×9 super Swamper or 25×9.5 vampires. I’ve had vamps and they bite. But I can get the SS for the same price. They look like lighter vamps. 1inch tread vs 1.5inch. Anyone used them and have a review? Thoughts?
I’m new to the site so appreciate any info or help here; I used my 2015 Foreman 4×4 ES all this past hunting season w/out issue; since then, I’ve kept the bike in the garage and have started it a few times w/out any trouble codes; I recently replaced the stock wheels w/some aftermarket wheels, and also installed a strong built receiver hitch; the first time I’ve started it after installing the hitch, I noticed the check engine light was blinking, two times long, and then three more short flashes. From looking online, this appears to maybe be a code 23 which might be an O2 sensor; I’m just curious as to the timing and coincidence; is there something that I did when installing new wheels (same size as stock wheels and using the stock tires on the new wheels) and/or the receiver hitch that would cause the bike to throw a code? Appreciate the input. Thanks.
