Need help.

First off thanks to all who take the time to read my post. I have a 2013 foreman 500 es and the other day I decided to take my honda out for some fun. I loaded it up on the back of my truck and once I arrived to my destination I unloaded it and gathered my stuff. As soon I try to start it it won’t fire up which it will attempt to start but won’t fire up. My battery is good and I’ve checked all my terminals to ensure they were tight. I also noticed when I throttle it while starting it fires up but immediately turns off and smoke comes out the exhaust. I only have about 300 miles on it. Any tips or advice for my issues? Once again thanks to all who will help.

Milky Front Diff Oil

Changed the oils in the differentials last night. Front was milky but the rear wasn’t. Flushed with diesel a couple times and put new oil in. From reading other threads it sounds like there is no way to prevent water from getting in due to a rusty drive shaft, or is that problem only on the 660s? I ride in a lot of water but never deep enough to reach the vent line. How likely is it for water to get in from the vent line? I have been close but I dont think I have ever been that deep. I didn’t check the fill hole before I drained it so I dont know how much got in it and I have no idea how long its been like this but there was no sign of damage. Anyone else having this problem?

LED Headlights

I’d like to put led headlights on my 2014 sportsman, I am finding some headlights from RZR’s on ebay. Can anyone point me in the right direction on getting the correct wire harness to make it plug and play? Or some input on this matter, I dont with to pay almost 500 for the kit.

Purchasing a 2016 Renny 1000X xc

I have a couple questions as I get ready to purchase this unit. Does anyone have any feedback on the Yoshumira exhaust slip on that is offered as a option for the bike. Is it worth $500?
I also plan on getting the Warn 2,500 winch for the unit. I think is as big as the unit I have on my Polaris Ranger and was just wondering if there is any feedback on getting the 3,500 instead. I just couldn’t see the need for a 600lbs machine.
I was also planning on the aluminum rear rack. Looks small like I can strap a back pack to it just fine but doesn’t take up a bunch of room.
I am trading in my 2015 Outty 500L DPS Max on the Renny. I am sick of the suspension on the Outty and can’t see the money for the good shocks and still have bad A arms.
One more thing is if I should be looking at something else right away let me know. I only use the unit for some higher speed through the woods riding chasing my boys on the DS 250 and a DS 90X. We ride at the dunes but I am not the mega dune rider. I just do a few jumps with the boys and on occasion run up the bigger dunes. We ride in the desert but it is open trails at higher speed. Thanks in advance. Wally

Lean 2016s?

OK, so i’ve been reading about fuel controllers and wonder about the "lean" condition with 2016s and the benefits of a controller. I wonder how much is wive’s tales and how much is tangible benefit? I’ve been hearing this about pretty much every motorcycle/atv I’ve owned. I like tinkering as much as the next guy, and I’ve chipped my V-Twin motorcycle (did the intake and exhaust) and my diesel P/U (after a few mods). I’m not wanting to eek out a couple extra Hp…I just want safe and reliable. I have no intention of modifying intake/exh on my grizzly, so….is it "worth" it to add something like an EHS controller? Any "evidence" that it helps with temps, engine wear/life? Again, I’m not looking for "feels more responsive". Part of me want’s to throw one on and the other half says it was "engineered" that way for a reason (albeit emissions) and use the $$ for something more measurable/practical. What say you?

Latex Paint Removal

New member here, I just purchased a 2007 Rancher that was owned by an elderly man. Low milage (875) but it looks like crap. He built plywood front and rear baskets and decided to paint them while on the rancher…green latex paint all over the racks, fenders, one headlight has a paint runs on it.
Any suggestions on how to get the paint off without making a bigger mess?
