New Can-am owner and member

Just signed up on the forum, because I just picked up an 2015 Outlander xtp 1000. Only 6hrs and to good of a deal to pass up. Love the look and the specs were great. I just picked it up today.
Taking it down to Tall Pines NY this weekend for their 5 year anniversary.

Strapping down front end

I know this has been discussed but I never really saw someone say anything about the front. In the manual it shows this picture for strapping down the front is it saying to use that black bar? 1st time can am owner use to ride polaris and on the front that had that ring so just making sure i strap my front end down right. Thanks for the help.

Canam Linq locks???

I have tried searching for this and no luck. Does canam or anybody make a Linq lock, something I could use to quickly lock on off my quadboss weekender trunk. I currently have it secured down with u bolts and wing nuts but kinda a pia to take off and on.

89 TRX300 lights and elec start problems

Hi, I’m new to the forums. I have a 1989 TRX300 2wd in great condition. It was given to me. When we got it home I had to kick start it, no white smoke. The electric start wouldn’t work though. I went to try the elec start the next day and it wouldn’t work. I turned the handlebar to the left hit the elec start, and it cranked right up. So now, every time I start it, I have to turn my handle bar to the left. Same problem with the lights. They will turn on if the handle bar is turned to the left, but if I turn the handle bar to the right, they immediately turn off. Any ideas on what’s wrong and how to fix it??

New look to the Guru Brush guard

Just an FYI….
I called John at Guru ( Nice Guy) and he told me he has just made a change to the guard.
He added a curve to the bar above the headlight and sent me a couple of pictures.
I ordered one with the expanded metal in all holes but the bottom winch area. 🙂
