As the title suggests, this is a "what would you do" thread.
My machine is on my signature, with a list of all the goodies I’ve purchased so far for it.
But now, it’s time for performance upgrades. I have $1,000.00 to spend, and this is the stuff I’m contemplating to buy.
RJWC Single slip on exhaust ($475)
Dobeck tuner ($225)
2,500lb Polaris/Warn winch ($400, not a performance upgrade but still helpful)
QSC clutch kit ($300)
I do a lot of desert trail riding, river bed rock crawling, but not too much mud, so I think I could leave the winch out, but I’m afraid I would eventually end up needing it when I least expect it.
What do you think? Keep the winch, and get a cheaper exhaust that needs no tuner?
Or ditch the winch and keep averything else?
Or maybe put a hundred more, take out the clutch kit and keep everything else?
I have a 1986 Honda fourtrax 350 4×4. This model uses a fuel pump
Powered by the battery. The batter is good and the fuel
Pump is brand new and I took it to a mechanic and he said to fix the stator for parts and labor it would be almost 900$. I can charge the battery and ride it fine. But when the battery dies (because the stator is broke the battery won’t recharge) the fuel pump stops working and I’m stuck. How do I fix the stator for much less and doing it myself with limited knowledge? Any help
Would be great!
