So much for current threads

Looks like Gearslayer just splattered a bunch of welcome messages on old threads again. It’s completely meaningless to the people who joined months ago to get a generic shotgun welcome message now, and it screws with people who use the forum’s "New Posts" function to scan posts for relevant stuff to participate in. It’s quite clear that he’s only doing it for the advertising.

So I guess I won’t be participating today. Or maybe for a few days.

Uni air filter

Im planning on putting 24" itp mayhem tires on my honda recon. Im pretty sure i can turn these tires pretty well as my gators are listed at 22lbs and the mayhems are about 23lbs. Would adding a uni to my recon increase the ammout of power it has? Will it be noticeable?

QSC Rev X -vs- STM 3P Primary Clutch

The title says it all. I have 30 inch Blackwater Evo’s. I trail ride and drag race my buddies.

Does one of them have better trail manners or rock crawling abilities?
Is one of those clutches faster than the other all things being equal?
Is one easier to adjust or tune?
Is one quieter than the other?
Is one more reliable than the other?

Lots of questions but I would like the fastest, most reliable and simplest to tune or adjust, with the best trail manners.

Maximum Tire size??

I have a 2015 Honda Foreman ES. Right now i have stock tires but want to upgrade to some mud tires. How large can i go without compromising my axels. Also what do you think are the best tires? I mostly trail ride but do have to ride on the road a bit if that makes a difference. Also can I would like to put a lift on it as well, how much could i lift it??

What u joints? Oem or Greaseable?

I am in the middle of a pretty major tear down on my 2013 scrammy, replacing all the wheel bearing, complete bushings, and the lower steering post currently. I grabbed the front drive shaft and found a little more play then I would like, and since everything is easy to get to I would like to do it. I see there are oem with out zerk fittings and aftermarket with zerk fittings, any input on what would be better?

Oil coming from crankcase vent tube

Hi everyone,
Looking at buying a 1997 Kodiak as a 2nd Atv. Dont mind getting a bit of a fixer upper to run around the cottage When I went to check out a 1997 Kodiak 400 it was pretty hard starting. Quite noticeable ticking after getting it going. What really caught my attention was the oil coming from crankcase vent tube hose. In the first 10 minutes of the Kodiak sitting and running it looked like the Kodiak dripped about 1/8 of an ounce underneath the bile. How would this much oil get out of the crankcase vent?? I assumed the ticking was from the valves.
Kodiak idled rough but actually ran pretty good on the test drive and seems to have alright compression.
Thanks
