Hi everybody! Just so you know, I’m new to ATV’s and even newer to posting on a forum.
With that said, I could use some help with a used quad I purchased recently. It’s a chain driven machine, not sure of the model number but it’s a 125cc. Everything’s working great on the bike but it makes a very loud and aggravating vibration noise while giving it gas. Moving forward mostly, not so much in reverse and not at all in neutral. I’ve raised the bike and put it in gear and it still does it but I can’t pinpoint the cause. It seems to happen throughout the entire rpm ranges while under a load and moving forward. Imagine a loose washer on a bolt between a piece of metal and the nut being vibrated very aggressively and the sound it makes. While sitting on the bike it seems as if it’s coming from directly underneath the rider.
Any help or hints would be very appreciated, thank you in advance
Just looking at what mods every one has. I had a honda450 and a Rincon… Decided to get everything out of one quad. I’m looking to plow my driveway but that really all I’m going to use it utility wise.
I order the frame reinforcements. But I definitely going to flash the ECU. Just want to looks at an exhaust. Noise is not that big of a problem but I want to noise down just a little.
Also clutch recommendations that will let me plow and have fun riding.
I was thinking of trying HD springs for my 1000 Touring both front and back to give it a mini lift, I want to try and get a bit of lift for larger tires ( 28’s). I am trying to avoid an actual lift and new axles…
The OEM Touring rear springs are rated 110-220 part # 7043815
Hello does anyone know where I can find a service manual for a 2015 sportsman 570sp touring besides the dealer? I would prefer a download version but the book would do. Thanks.
Good morning,
Just purchased a 2015 (new) Honda Rubicon foot shift and will take delivery next Saturday. I’m coming off of a Honda Pioneer 1000 so this is quite a change.
It’s been about 6 years since I had a non SxS atv and 10 years since I had a Honda atv. Looking forward to learning and sharing ideas with all of you
I’ve got a Warn A2000 winch on my ’97 Yamaha that won’t hold up my snowplow. It pulls it up without hesitation but it goes back down if I let go of the switch. Is it supposed to be like that or is something broken?
How can i fix it?
I’ve taken the winch apart partially but I can’t really see whats broken or missing?
After finally putting back me machine together a few weeks ago, I was riding this evening and crashed in the ditch.. Was in a trail freshly groomed (snow) And my front right wheel catched into the soft side and next thing I new I flipped over on the side .. So after about 30 min of messing around trying to get my grizzly 700 on its four wheels and out of the ditch by myself in the dark woods, I realised my steering was crooked. Wheels will point straight forward but my handlebar is pointing fairly to the left.. There seem to be no binding in the direction. Is it possible I bent the steering shaft?
I will investigate further tomorrow in the daylight, just wanted to get some advice. Thank you!
