So I broke the front pinion cover on my 2015 sportsman 850 sp. I have the extended warranty with Polaris but there saying they might not cover it. My question is that has anyone heard of a built front diff? If so where would I get one, is there even such thing as a built diff for these? I don’t want to install a stock one and end up blowing another diff out. Thanks in advance

hello fellas, need some help please.
I have an outlander 800XT and the 4×4 is not working.
The 4×4 light turn on only when I accelerate the bike, but it’s not engaging in four-wheel-drive
Even as I’m driving and I accelerate the bike the 4 x 4 light turns on momentarily while I have the bike accelerated and as I release the throttle the light turns off but again the 4 x 4 is not engaging, any suggestions?

Went riding last Saturday came out of a mud hole on back wheels front end came down , heard a clink like metal on metal. Kept riding the rest of day because usually when I bottom the front end down it slightly makes that noise. Come to find out the top of the shock where it bolts to the frame broke off. My dilemma now is to replace the one shock for 85 bucks or replace the entire shock set up with the fox shock upgrade from brp part number 706202489 I can get the whole set for 500 to my door. I was also wondering if these shock upgrade was the same as what comes on the new 850 xmrs. I’m not wanting to drop the :smilietwocents: on elkas need some opinions guys

I looking at new front axles again, mine are clicking in awd while spinning and im just rolled it backwards in the garage and there was a pop in the front, CV’s are shot I’m sure. Up here in Canada the prices are crazy and no selection where I live. Has anyone tried the max HD axles from royal distributing , on paper they look ok and free shipping is a big plus, any reviews on them or other places to look.

I was hoping someone on here could post a few pictures of how the rear rack sits and how it bolts up. I am having trouble finding pictures on google that give a good shot of it. I recently picked up a 14 1000 scrammy and it has an aftermarket rear bumper and the rear rack had been taken off. Well after looking at some pictures I see why its not on there anymore. I want to try and make it work with this aftermarket bumper, but not sure on how high i want the rack off the plastic and exactly how far back.

If anyone could post some pictures, id appreciate it.

Also when I shift it into reverse and give it gas there is a hesitation before it starts to move, longer then what id expect to me normal.

hey guys, waiting for my front prop shaft to come in and come to find out they are on back order right now. so im going to replace the u joints in the one I have.
what brand are you guys going with? I have used all balls before for the ball joints or wheel bearings. how are you liking the u joints.
any other brands out there people have good luck with?
