New to this site…looking for help on what appears to be a minor problem. ATV is only 4 months old and I recently heard a "clanging" noise while riding. The problem is with the "Shaft-Rear Propeller" where the circular "cap" has come disconnected from the base of what it attaches to (see photos). This is down by the rear suspension. In viewing the parts diagram of the "Rear Final Gear diagram" I think this is part of the "Shaft- rear Propeller". Dealer says I should be able to easily tap this back into place. Seemed easy enough, and I was able to attach it back on but I can’t get it to stay in place. Its not bent and looks like it should just fit back on, but after I ride again after very short periods of time, it keeps falling off and dangles on the shaft again. Any advice? Pictures attached. Thank you!

2001 400ex rebuild
My bike is smoking and recently jumped timing. I tore it apart. Valves were smashing the piston but they appear to still be seated properly and not bent. Anyway, I’m trying to figure out what to do here. My piston says 408 and measures 85.66mm and the bottom of the cylinder averaged 85.74. I don’t have a bore gauge just yet. Can I just replace the piston and rings here without doing any more boring or using a sleeve? I’m assuming based on the piston size that it was bored 0.75mm. Also what size piston do I need to order. I can’t seem to find a 408 piston. I’m just a little confused here. Any help would be great!

I am a new member just picked up a 2008 Grizzly 700 EPS with 420 hours / 2000 miles but, the guy I bought it from took great care of it and did all his own maintenance such as every 100 miles. I got the Grizzly to help out tracking and hauling things on my hunting lease. I am excited to be part of the Grizzly family and cannot wait to get it out in the field to help me with tracking and setting up deer stands.
Let me know if there is anything useful to know for a newbie and anything that might help. thanks!

2001 400ex rear brake rotor
Hey guys. I’m new here so forgive me if this has been answered already. Got a 2001 400ex that I bought from a guy. He said he thinks the axle is from a 2005 450r which he said the caliper needs to be a 450r caliper. Anyone know how I can verify that this is indeed a 450r rotor? Perhaps what is the diameter of a 400ex vs a 450r? Just want to make sure and avoid ordering the wrong caliper.
