Got a chance to run the quad a little bit tonight. Just installed a CVTECH and STM. From a slow roll, when I pin it the RPMs jump to about 7050 and then drop and hold at 6850 through the pull ( until I run out of room). I don’t know yet how the primary is set up but will be calling 3P for info Monday. The helix in the secondary is a 40 EN and I believe there are 3 fiber washers installed. I believe this shift out is a little low. What is my target shift out rpm and any thoughts on how to get there would be appreciated. Also, I use the homemade 2 bolt method to remove the stock primary. Will this be OK to use on the CVtech? Thank for your input.

tires–2007 Sportsman 450
I need to replace both front and back tires, as I believe they are originals…..and are starting to wear smooth.
OEM Carlsile front 24x8x12 and back 24x11x12.
I drive all dirt roads and some rough terrain. No mud or rivers.
What changes can I make to sizing without buying new rims or adding spacers.
I was thinking about 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 rear….as this may make steering a little easier and make the quad look better (higher).
What brands are recommended and is the sizing ok for the current rims?
Thanks
Blank digital display
Hey guys I just got a 500af and the display is blank the neutral light is on. So I disconnected the connectors from the computer board in the display and it came back on other than esp was blinking. Here is the strange thing if I turn the key off and back on it goes blank again until I unplug it and plug it back in again. Any ideas?
2016 Can Am XMR 1000
My friend has a brand spanking new one of these and he let me take it for a rip today. I know it is a mission specific machine made to tackle big mud holes. My review……YUK. Just a big heavy awkward Tank. That is not me in the picture. I was happily on my Grizzly.
Front diff rebuild questions
Went for a short ride and the front differential started spewing oil out of the left side around the axle. Unfortunately I believe the bearing is bad and not just the seal because I can wiggle the axle pretty good on that side and the other three axles have no play at all. I know I will have to pull the diff out but is there any pointers in rebuilding the diff? Also is there one kit that I should look into getting? I’ve seen one from quad boss and all balls so far but have heard horror stories about all balls so any opinions are appreciated. Not looking forward to this job at all but it has to be done and could use any pointers.
Thanks, Cody

Stuck on cv joint :s
So im replacing my front inner cv boot, ive got it all out and on the bench, rubber pulled back. But how do i seperate the cv joint? Google tells me theres normally a snap ring but theres nothing there. Its a 2008 sportsman 800. Do i have to split it at the outter cv joint? Please say no. Lol i dont have extra clamps and had to destroy the ones on this boot to get them off lol
