Hi Im Jerry, im a cadet at Great lakes Maritime Academy in Traverse City Mi. I have a 2012 550 blue eps, with a warn winch, tires and rims, and baja designs leds, and have the racks linexed. I have been reading on the public forums for the last year, after i got into a lot of trail riding. I have coming in the rox risers handlebar kit, mbrp sport exhaust, a fuel computer, and an air filter, all of which i got after reading forums on here. So thank you for the advice and i look forward to getting more involved here, and maybe if there are local rides ill join in!

hi all.. do you guys get an awful chatter when braking and going downhill?
my new 570 does and it sounds like shit. maybe someone has some knowledge on this…maybe something loose? 288 miles and brake pads are still good
I’m sure it’s a common problem on these old sportsmans with the 10" wheel on the back finding tires to fit. the tire size is a 25×12-10 which isn’t common at all. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find tires easier, whether it be buying rear wheels in a 12" size or a recommendation on tires? I hate to pay $90+ for tires that I don’t even really like.
Thanks

Well I have been a member for several years now and yesterday I stopped by the Can-Am and Polaris dealer in town and looked at some new rides. I wound up trading in my 2012 500 touring and got a new 2016 Can-Am XMR 850. Got a sweet trade in price and got a huge discount on the new machine. They beat the price on a 850 highlighter edition. I am moving to Tennessee in September so wanted to get a mud riding machine.
I have a steal home built trailer that I mostly only use for my sportsman 570 I have tri fold aluminum ramps which I have to set up every time to put on and off atv. Was thinking instead of building ramps to get hinges and bolt the tri fold aluminum ramp to the trailer just wondering if anyone has tried this and been successful
