Front Diff issues

So the 1st ride this year didn’t go so well. 1st I broke what i thought was a left front axle in the diff in the very 1st hole i used 4wd on my Xmr 1K. A couple hours later my wife tore out her rear diff on her 650. I pulled the axle out this morning and it was not broke anywhere. when jacked up and turning the right front wheel there is clearly no power to the left. I made a loud grinding noise when it happened, would this be the Visco or the spider gears? Thanks

Plastic color distortion

Hello
I own a 2015 outlander 500 and have just hit about 360 miles. After cleaning it the other day I noticed on both sides in front of the seat, to the left and right of the air box the grey plastic has turned a shade of brown. It’s not dirty or anything, I have clean the areas a dozen times to try and get rid of it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Can-Am Flasher and Horn Kit 715001358 help!!

Hi all, I just tackled the Can-Am Flasher and Horn Kit 715001358 on my 2016 Outlander Max XT. Was quite surprised at how "plug n play" it is. But I have some questions. The turn signals and flashers/new control grip work great! But, I do have one serious problem. The horn is stuck on! Has anyone else installed this kit? Perhaps someone in Europe? Seems not to popular around here in the USA. I had to unplug the horn for now. Who has installed this kit before? See the attached pic. The wire harness is completely modular and plug n play. But I have the horn hooked up here and the horn button seems useless. What’s wrong here? What is that little screw? Do I have to ground the horn somewhere? There is also a complete separate harness which can be seen in pic. Is that just a spare for more accessories? Looks like the same plugs as the horn.

Also, it seems there are additional plugs for something called position lights. I believe they fit on the front beneath the turn signals on the new shroud. Anyone know what part number they are and what purpose they serve?

THANKS!

RJWC Dobeck 3.5 fuel programmer short

I have a 2016 Sportsman highlifter and was just cruising in the backyard when my quad shut off. After doing the typical checklist of fuses etc etc i noticed the programmer didnt have the flashing green LED’s like it typically does. I removed it and went back to the stock setting and the quad started right up. What would cause this thing to just short out all of a sudden? Ive had it installed for about a month or so and have never even take it through water or mud yet.

EPS issue

Yep, another one…although based on what I’ve read here it doesn’t seem like this is a common problem. I bought a 2011 700 with 1300 miles on it that looked fairly clean, frame, engine, etc looked very clean, plastics had some scratches, but nothing terrible. Guy claimed it had been babied and since he had a physical handicap (not sure what the PC term is here) I assumed all was good. Got it home and was happy. I didn’t realize that the EPS light being lit was a bad thing as it was always on. Then one day I go out to plow and the steering is really nice and easy and I notice the light is off. This lasted only a few minutes and then the EPS light came back on and has been on ever since.

Great. My 2 week old 2011 has a big problem. Check the battery including load test (supposedly new in 2013) relays, fuses, wiring, etc. Everything looks OK

Pull the codes (current and historical) and get 13, Torque sensor. Seems like everyone says it cannot be replaced on its own, yet at least one person has claimed to do just that taking a torque sensor off a warrantied EPS unit and fixed his.

Aside from replacing the whole EPS unit has anyone managed to correct this?

Thanks
