This setup was behind front small sprocket..anyone see this before?
Holds chain up off of frame. Chain guide gone. Can’t find this anywhere online.
Doesn’t look original but how else to keep chain off of frame??

Oil Question

So, I have a 2014 700 that I bought in October. Quick question, I know the original oil and gear oil are in the bike. There are only 50ish miles on the odometer. Should I change the oils being they are 3-ish years old? Looking for opinions from you OG’s. I feel like I should, because I would on an auto if it was older than a year.

It’s sad that I haven’t ridden much since I bought the rig, it had 42 miles on it. My buddy’s Popo was in the shop when it was warmer and didn’t have anyone to ride with…:frown2:

02 foreman giving me hell

Fourwheeler: 2002 foreman 450 S

Problem: starts when choked, runs fine on choke for about 10seconds, then spits and sputters until dead. Sometimes runs for roughly one minuite but it spits and sputters down to low rpm followed by returning to high idle (choked) every 10seconds or so.

Things I have repaired/replaced that I know were bad: timing chain tensioner, timing chain, and the tensioner arm/.

Things I have repaired/replaced that I thought were bad: brand new carburetor off ebay, rectifier/voltage regulator (used in "good condition"), new spark plug, ignition coil (used in "good condition").

When I replaced timing chain, tensioner, and such I just put the piston TDC (thru hole with both dots aligned on cam/sprocket with mark on engine case. I turned motor over by pull start rope and verified dot/case mark alignment and tdc thru inspection hole, also rockers were slacked.
I also put air line on spark plug hole to verify no bent valves, held pressure fine with no leaks thru intake or exhaust side.

I verified there was no restrictions in the muffler by removing all baffles and the whole end cap arrestor.

This is the carb I bought http://m.ebay.com/itm/381796235070?_mwBanner=1

After all of the above the problem remains the same.

I am at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need this thing back running for the ranch.
If theres a honda guru on here that would like to take the time out of their day to help me out over the phone I would greatly appreciate it.
I am mechanically inclined and with a little more honda experience help maybe I could knock this out!

Thanks in advance,
Austin.

900-975 Big bore kit pros, con’s, concerns

So after A LOT of headache I finally have my 900xp back together with the 975 kit installed. Aftermarket fuel pump is installed as well as a Dobeck AFR+ controller (which I love). I haven’t taken it out on the trail yet as I have a couple issues I’m still working out. If I plug in the controller it idles puuuurfect but if I give it gas it goes WAY lean, like off the gauge lean and dies when I let off. If I take the controller out and just run it in open loop the idles getts crappy but wont die if I give it gas.

Do I need to reprogram the ecu for a diffrent spark curve?
Should I put new injectors on it (has new factory stock now) and if so how big should I go and how big is to big.

This is one of my "lead guide" rigs and I’m not looking for making huge horsepower, I prefer reliability. But ya know, there’s no replacement for…

Who else has run one of these kits and what problems or benefits have you seen?
