Grizzly 700 valve problem

New off the floor as non current a 2015 grizzly 700 se

Im doing my first service after break in, I got to the valves. The rocker is in full contact on intake and exhaust.

The machine is at 16.8 hours and just under 360 km. This is all pretty easy riding on open trails, logging roads etc. I followed the manufactures breakin rules… No holding wide open throttle, steady rpm etc. the only symptom I think I may have had of bad valve adjustment is poor power, and not reving all the way up. Not sure never rode a grizz before.

To be sure Im doing this correctly… I look through the timing plug and see three lines that i center over the slot in the bottom of the timing plug hole, I am now at top center. To be sure i was in the right position i rotated 360deg and checked again, to be sure it wasnt on intake side. Still nothing. And to be clear its a screw and locknut style adjuster Im looking at right? All nuts are tight.

Should i suspect my dealer didnt check them when the pdi was done? Seems they couldnt have possibly tightened so much with such little use. Should I suspect a damaged head or valves? Over heating issues?

Im not really a mech any help would be appreciated before I call the dealer.

Need help!!!

I just bought a 2007 grizz 450. It ran great for my friend who I bought it from. I got it home today and while it was in idle I hit my winch button and it killed the quad. Now it will not start all it does is crank. I have spark checked all fuses and they are good I have gas going to the carb. I don’t know what’s going on but I didn’t even have it for an hour and already having bad luck.

16′ 1000 Clutching Help

I have a new 16′ Outlander 1000 was wandering the best route would be for me to go with better clutching… I’m stock with stock tires mostly trail type riding with a mix of everything else. Would just a kit do me good enough, which is the best? Would rather not drop big money on a whole new clutch setup if I don’t have to.

Also I have a full Rage 6 STM Primary and secondary for a 13′ Maverick. Would either of these fit on the Outlander?

Thanks

smoking 850

so….. i had an over heating problem that took forever and about $400 in parts before i found the $15 fix, the circuit breaker. second to last ride, i got stuck in a hole and the bike started to loose power and died in a small hole. it had problems starting then wouldn’t. hydro locked. pulled it out, drained the exhaust (witch has never got water in it before) checked the oil and it was clean. pulled plugs, turned it over and out comes dirty water. on the side of the trail, flushed out the top end by putting water in the spark plug openings and turning it over, repeating till it came clean. put plugs in and started right up. let it run for 20 minutes then checked the oil and it was clean. no problems for the 8 mile ride home. change the oil anyway. last weekend i went through a small water spot and the motor started to cut out again so i gave it gas and it came out of it. when we came to a stop i checked the oil and it was grayish. on about mile 9 from the 10 mile ride home, temp light came on. pulled over let it cool down and got it to the truck. thats when i saw the smoke. changed the oil and it was still grey. changed it again and it is clean now an still smokes. went to put some marvels mystery oil on top of the heads and oil cam out of the head gasket on the side that the cylinder was up. so…. bike runs pretty good but sometimes stalls on a quick snap of the throttle (in park). any thoughts? obviously it needs a head gasket so is this hard to do? im trading it in but thats not going to work with a smoking bike.

centrifugal clutch burned?clutch lifter mechanism loose?

I have some pictures to show what I am describing in the title and i’m not sure whether it’s normal and the way it should be or conflicted. The clutch lifter mechanism is very loose and I kind of have to balance the end cap on it for it to stay there. Normal? Also, only one of the shoes on the centrifugal clutch is scratched up and this makes me think that only one of the shoes is driving the quad..

Can your help me identify this seal?

I need to replace the secondary shaft seal on the engine/transmission housing, i searched quite a while on partzilla but could find it on the schematics..

The machine is a 2009 grizzly 700 eps
Seal size is roughly 54.7 mm OD , 42 mm ID

Its the seal on the left, belt side. Thanks!
