I got a 2000 600 4×4 been sitting for 6-7years just rebuilt the carb changed oil filter air filter. It fired right up after I put it all back together ran it slow for awhile than ran it up to 30 around the block than took gravel up to 50 came back to the garage. Had a low idle so I turned up the idle a bit to level it out, than just like a switch it idled real high so i turned it back down. I put it in gear to pull in the garage and it stalled fired back up and the oil light was on flickering. I rev’d it up a little bit and it made a sputter on decel. Hoping one of you guys can shed some light as too what it could be
I have noticed on my last several rides that my 2014 Grizzly with 980 miles and 106 hours goes into 4wd intermittently without me hitting the button. It is always in 2wd drive when I park it (button out). It is in 2wd drive when I start out, no 2wd indicator is on etc. I can tell when it goes to 4wd by the harder steering and the indicator light comes on. The 4wd button is never touched. It only does this when it cold (relatively speaking, it is 75-85 degrees) It does this on pavement for about 900′ before I get to the desert. Once it is used a little bit it works fine and the indicator does not come on again in 2wd. When it does come on in 2wd I stop and push the button several times to get it out of 4wd. It usually comes back on at least once until I drive a little farther. The front diff fluid was changed a 200 miles and is at the correct level. Has anyone ever heard of this problem before?
OK I have seen these things now for a while, on hunting shows and such
is it just me or would you have to be crazy to pay 6-7-8 grand for one of these things???
I mean HOW lazy are we getting that you cannot walk into a place to hunt as generations did for yrs and yrs?/
and thats a TON of $$$ for a electric tricycle no??
I mean I aon’t bashing any company from making a living, but ? WOW
I did the fan bypass swithc on my 2016 XT-P 1000. It will require a single pole singel throw switch. Basicly a on of swithc. A rubber boot for the switch. Some wire, 2 pieces about a foot each. Two spade connectors. And some of that plastic that you stuff the wires in ( I can’t think of the name of it right now.) This switch will give you the option to turn your fan on when ever you want. And the bike will still turn the fan on and off as needed.
1. It requires taking the front pod cover off.
2. I chose to put the switch on the front of the shifter plate.
3. It will be easier if you take your right side motor cover off.
4. Remove your fuse box cover and the fuse box.
5. Fuse box has two tabs on each side and it just pops right out.
6. Once the fuse box is loose, locate the fan relay.
7. Behind the fan relay you will see 4 wires going to the back of the relay.
8. The first thing you will notice is 2 wires are bigger than the other 2.
9. Take a sharp razor and skin the rubber shielding off the brown and red
wire and the black and white wire.
10. Take your soldering iron and some solder and put some solder on the two
wires you skinned.
11. Now add some solder to the ends of your 2 wires.
12. Go ahead and drill your hole for your switch.
13. Before you mount your switch connect your two wires to the switch with
the spade connectors.
14. Mount your switch and pull your wires through towards your the back of
your fuse box.
15. Take your soldering iron and solder your 2 wires to the skinned wires.
16. Test switch. Fan should come on.
17. Paint the two solder joints with liquid tape.
18. Assemble bike.
I have a 2004 Polaris Trailer Blazer 250. I’m actually looking to sell it as I hardly ride it. I got it out of the garage a couple weeks ago to wash it and everything to takes pics. The key wont turn though. I put the key in and I go to turn the key to turn the ignition and it it wont budge. I know if I forced it I will break something. Can anyone help? Why won’t the key turn? It was last ridden last fall and worked just fine.

I bought 2 new rear tires for my 2005 sportsman now shopping for front tires. I bought the kenda bear claw 587 for the rear. but I’m worried the upgrade for the front is a 9 inch instead of the 8 inch wide tire. should I worry about rubbing on the strut because of its camber.
Hello. I am going to look at a used 2007 outlander 800. The atv has 115 HR and about 1900 km on the atv. I am wondering if the 2007 was a good year for the outlander? And what all should I look for on this bike ? It looks like it’s in good shape but I don’t want to buy anything that is going to break down the road
