2003 300ex broke a cylinder sleeve so bottom end got trashed, picked one up from a guy, shined a light inside thing was 100% spotless. So I put it in after swapping some little stuff from what was good of my crap one, assembled my top end threw some oil in and it fired right up. Lightly reved it up and on its way back down to idle seemed like from the lower end was a slight knock. Reved again, lighter but still there, again and it was still there so I shut it off. Fired it up again ten minutes later and I didn’t hear it but I didn’t let it run long. Hoping to get it out tomorrow but not sure what the deal is. Really not looking to trash this bottom end. Beginning to get tired of working on it… Lol

Polaris sportsman 570
Trying to figure out the right tire for my 2015 sportsman 570 I’m currently running to diff tires 1 set of 28in vampire edl I run wen its wet but wen it dries up they throw way to much dust up. Then I switch to a set of 27 super swamper interforces. I ride everyday so as the year changes MUDs holes start to dry up. I’m ordering a clutch kit for 28in tires is there a 28in tire that is good in the mud an doesn’t spin so much in the sand. Has anyone compared the outlaws to the vamp edl in the sand. I ride to my feeder an traps few times a week an there is mud an water trails as well as auger sand trails any suggestions. Thanks
Time for a change
07 grizzly currently on 27 mud lites and I have been researching and thinking about 30x11x14 maxxis zillas on a 14×7 wheel with 5+2 offset. I do not want to lift it, and have read others running the 30" zillas but no info on a 11" on the front with that offset. Thought I would post up and get some thoughts. Already has a clutch kit just trying to decide on 11s on the front and if they will work with out spacers with that offset… one of the big reasons that I want to change is the really wide stance I currently have doesnt fit on the 4×8 trailer and would like to get the tires back under the fenders while riding. thanks in advance for any help!
2004 Rancher AT question
As stated I have a Rancher AT 2004 model. If I go to start it using the electric starter it will crank what seems like forever to start. If I use the recoil starter rope it will fire up instantaneously. What could be going on?
325 Trail Boss wont start
My friends 2000 325 Trail Boss with 155 hours hadn’t been run in 8 months, we put fresh gas in it and tried to start it with no luck. I sprayed starter fluid in it and it started right up and ran as long as I sprayed the fluid in it. So we pulled the carb and cleaned it, once put back together and made sure gas was getting to the carb, it was, tried to start and nothing, tried the starter fluid still not even a pop?. We checked for spark , it was strong and blue. Checked valve clearances and timing, all was good. Checked compression, it was 75-85 psi, which I had read is probably close because there is an automatic decompression circuit on the exhaust valve. If anyone has any idea on what else it could be please let me know, thanks. Oh yea almost forgot, the spark plug cap must have small hairline cracks in it because it was arching from the cap into the frame when I was testing for spark, wrapped it with rubber tape and all was good.

Sure I get to drive it some days..lol
We just picked up today…what a beast! Drove it around the yard a few times…absolutely amazing ride…only thing I don’t like is the way it nose dives when you stop…will a stiffer spring help that or does it need a whole shock? Would like to level it out too…other than that this is amazing machine!
