300 4×4 steering

I have a problem with the steering on my 300 4×4. At times in 4 wheel drive the steering gets hard to turn. If I go into 2 wheel drive, back up and put it back in 4 wheel. It will work again.
I read or heard somewhere, it was the oil in the hubs. I changed the oil and made sure they were full at 4 o’clock position.
Any help?

2013 Sportsman 500 H.O

A buddy of mine bought a 2013 Sportsman 500 H.O from a older guy with about 8,000 miles on it. The fan refuses to kick on. With 12V directly to the fan it comes on. I unplugged the wire from the sensor that goes into the radiator and I jumped it off with a jumper wire and the fan didn’t come on but I did hear the relay click. I checked the connection at the little block next to the battery but I’m not really sure how to test it. I tried to do the engine on unplug coolant temp sensor to see if it defaults to on but I have hear some people say the new ones won’t do anything when you unplug the temp sensor and his didn’t do anything either. Any other ideas. Or is there a way to test the switch off the radiator or a way to test the block by the battery? Thanks for all the help in advance!

GBC XC Masters

Recently purchased a set of GBC XC Masters. I wanted to get a few rides in on them before I posted up. They are a Razr 2 knock off but a really nice tire for the $. They perform well I dont have much rocky terrain down here but in the terrain we do have I had no issues. Not that my opinion means much but if you are looking to buy some new tires I would recommend them. A little over $200 for the set.

Diff Lock

I have a 07 700 with a puzzling problem, my diff lock hasnt been working so I lifted up the bike to get all 4 wheels off the ground and spun the wheels. I push the button for diff lock and hear the servo engaging but it does not lock the front, if unplug the servo and plug it back in it will engage and lock the front, hit the button to unlock and then lock again but wont engage unless I unplug and plug again.
Any thoughts…..

Best Place To Stay for West Virginia Outlaw Trails?

Our riding group has been going to West Virginia for a few years now and riding the Outlaw Trails. We have stayed at Jerrys (Riders Paradise), Ashland Resort cabins, Crumpler houses, Diane’s place, and we are going up in less than a month to stay at Wild Willy’s. I felt like I knew the cheapest places and the nicest places and also the happy mediums. However my insurance agent told me about Buffalo Trail Cabins they are closer to my house (less drive in the truck), all the parking lots are asphalt (from what I see and what I was told), they have an extremely nice restaurant/bar, huge selection of different places, they seem to be clean, and the prices are very good imo from what I have seen thus far. Has anybody stayed there? Also if you have an opinion of any of these let me know what you think. Also if you know of a better place to stay let us know. My favorite right now is probably the Crumpler Houses (never stayed at Buffalo or Wild Willys)

QSC Clutch Kit

Has anyone put one of these kits on thier quad yet? QSC is really the only people I have found that make a clutch kit for the HL edition but before I spend the money I just wanted to see if anyone else had purchased it and what the results were.

Intro and need a little help too

Hi guys, first time poster here. I’m Adam,26, and I’m from Charleston WV. My bike is a 2010 sportsman 550 touring X2 with EPS. The problem I’m having is with the power steering. The other day dad pulls the bike out of the garage to load it into the truck and everything is fine, next morning the PS won’t work. After a little research and a call to the dealer I figure it’s the voltage regulator and tried to test that from some steps I found on google(from this forum I believe). Well I’m no electrical whiz and couldn’t figure that out lol. Anyhow after having the voltage regulator unplugged a few minutes trying that we put it back together. Low and behold now the PS is working. So we figure all is well and something just needed "reset" so to speak. Well now after sitting another few days the problem is back. Voltage at the battery was throwing around 13 off and little over 14 running. Anyone have any ideas about this? Thanks fellas
