I’m thinking on re tapping the hole and getting a bigger bolt to fill the space. I’m not willing to buy a case half replacement. Please help on suggestions.
I also am not willing to put heli coil in the hole because they can cause major internal engine problems.
I have a 4×6 tilt trailer that I used to haul a Polaris 330 trail boss on and it pulled fine, but when I load my 2016 Grizzly on it, I will get a lot of trailer sway. The tires are properly inflated, the trailer rides level from tow vehicle. I load the Grizzly on forward, what should I check? Thanks!
The neighbor and I went to Waynoka, OK, AKA Little Sahara. It has about 1600 acres of real sand dunes and sandy trails. From what I am being told some of the dunes go up to about 200 feet.
The Grizzly (without paddle tires) chewed them. Riding in sand dune sure is different than anything else I have experienced. Once I realized it isn’t like riding on dirt it was much more fun. Outside of riding too fast up a dune and not jumping the crest, it’s very difficult to screw something up.
New guy here, just picked up my first Can Am, and I have no regrets. Originally wanted the digital camo and green, but I wasn’t able to find any locally. I got a pretty good deal on this red/white/black one.
Quite the night and day difference between this and my Honda Fourtrax 300. :yahoo:
Not really planning to do a whole lot to the XMR, aside from relocating the air inlet a little higher. Of course that all might change once I get some miles on it. Have had it for about 3 weeks now, and have just over 30 miles on it.
I have an 2013 850 Scrambler XP LE, when it’s idling and i give it throttle it will go into a safe mode or limp mode. When I let off the throttle and reapply throttle it will be fine until I slow to idle then it repeats the cycle. when it does this the engine will show in the display and when it’s running normal it will not appear. It doesn’t seem to leave a code.
found that when I let off the throttle and it goes down to idle speed if I move the throttle lever all the way closed before I reapply the throttle it doesn’t do it. Throttle cable has been adjusted to just under an 1/8 of slack.
Thought it might have been the TPS but it Idles and runs great when I push the throttle lever closed. If I don’t close the throttle all the way when I slow to idle speed before reaccelerating it will go into limp mode every time. but again as soon as I close the throttle and reapply its fine.
Planning to go ona ride tonight. My low beam headlights are blown. My localpartd store and wal mart does not have or carry the called for 894 bulb…..Is there another bulb that can work in the lowbeam headlight?
is this a common thing with these can-ams? swaybar bushings are good and everything is greased. only have 500 miles on bike and when i go downhill and hit a bump i hear i noise that sounds like its coming from drivetrain.
sometimes when i just hit a bump on flat ground,
any ideas would be great…thanks
Hey guys i just picked up my new renegade xmr and what a beast it is. But whats bugging me is as soon as i mash the throttle wide open i get belt screach. I can be in high or low going whatever speed i want as soon as i go wide open about 1-2 seconds later i get slip/screach. I know i have 110kms so that might have something to do with it but im woundering if i realy need a new belt already or can i take apart and clean everything and she will be good
Alright well I’ve got a few questions.
Just broke a front right cv axle, I’ve been looking at the cobra axles and idk if they are worth the money. Plus I wanted to get a little extra umph out of the bike, what’s the best way to do that and on the front case of the motor near the front drive shaft there’s a through bolt that says increase and decrease what is that for?
