The woman and i took off for a drive friday morning going east from Idaho and encountered flooding in Lander Wy and freeway closure in Laramie because of snow so decided to chase the better weather and right now sitting in Montrose CO…Sure wish we had the machine with us so you could show us around… Beautiful country here and lots i’d like to see away from pavement…. I will be hopefully planning a trip down here in the future…

Hi all, I’m new to the world of ATV’S and excited to learn a bit about them as well! Recently purchased an old quad, 84 TRX 200. When I looked at it was running and not leaking anything. Until, I drove it onto the truck and it started leaking gas. Got it home and it fired up for a short time and stalled out and the leak continued. Turned the petcock off to stop the leak. The leak is coming from the overflow valve on the carburetor. I’m sure this a common problem? Any advice where I can start to get this problem solved? Thanks for reading! Cheers!!
I rebuilt my grizzly with a wiesco 686 kit, head ported and polished, uni foam filter, raptor valve springs, and a mudbuster cam. It seems to stumble and run poorly, if i take the drain plug out of the bottom of the airbox, it runs better but it still has a stumble at 1/3 throttle but works very well at full throttle and has lots of top end. Is it getting too much fuel at low throttle? If I snorkle it, I assume it will get worse. If i understand correctly from what I have read, I would need to go to a smaller jet? This carb stuff has me confused.
Hey all, been lurking for a bit while I decided which Atv to buy. Picked up a new Foreman Rubicon last week. Finally got a chance to get it out and play today. This is my first Atv so there was a bit of a learning curve to overcome but, had a great time and got her and me all dirty. Anybody want to wash it for me?
I was looking at the metal drop baskets on eBay and they are pretty cheap. I think they were 89 bucks with free shipping. Is anyone running one of these? If so, how is the quality? Also, do the rear drop boxes make the ATV feel rear heavy when trail riding with normal gear if the terrain gets the slightest bit technical? Should I go with a front, rear, or both?

I have a new to me 2006 Rincon. Took it out riding hit a little mud (half way up the tires, not over the plastic) and turned into a smoke show. Bike wouldn’t restart.
After the issue happened I contacted the guy I got it from and he THEN told me it had just got a top end rebuild. Before I had bought it he told me there were no issues, the bike was great and he had never had any issues.
So thw I took it to a fella that has a backyard shop and he said the rings had seized to the piston. He replaced the piston and said the cylinder was fine. Bike cranks and idles fine. In ESP it runs great, in auto it will not Rev up and get above 20 mph, starts sputtering. Any ideas??

I have a 2005 sportsman 500 HO that is not charging the battery. It has a brand new battery and ECM and CDI. I was out riding today and my battery light started flashing and then the All wheeled drive light went away and I was in stuck in 2 wheeled drive. Went to use the winch and it only made a clicking noise wouldn’t go in or out then it quit nothing would turn on or light up. Tried to pull start it and that didn’t do anything. If anyone has any ideas please let me know don’t wanna have to bring it to a shop.
Can someone recommend a battery for my Sportsman 800 it’s a 2009 I normally get batteries from Walmart because they’re made by Johnson Control but they don’t seem to have a listing for my Polaris. Where else should I look other than the dealer of course. Thanks in advance Jack
