Brand new 2016 can-am renegade xmr 1000 is getting too hot!

I just bought a brand new 2016 can-am renegade xmr 1000 about a month ago or less and the plastic above the exhaust is starting to melt! It’s not touching the exhaust yet but slowly working it’s way there. I didn’t realize this was a huge issue until now but what should I do?? I broke it in correctly and I don’t abuse it by any means, considering it’s a mudding machine and I’m new to mudding, so iv have taken things easy trying to learn.

Master cylinder problem

I put new seals in my master cylinder and now when i press in the pistion it is really slow to come back out. It went in and out fine before i redid it so my question is what could i have messed up? I put the pieces back in order of what came out and according to the diagrams. Also there is no fluid or top on the master cylinder if that matters.

Need help!!!

I suck my 2007 rancher 420 got all water out of it put fresh filters on it and fresh gas in it. Couldn’t get it to crank. Put a new bank angle sensor and fuel pump relay still won’t crank. What’s the deal?

’08 Kodiak 450 CVT Issues

Well as I mentioned in my intro in the newbie forum I bought this machine "used" and took it for a ride on the weekend and got stranded. During the ride there a couple decent water holes that were driven through. I had to drain the water once out of the cvt after getting in too "deep". After riding for an hour or two after that, I smelt some burning rubber smell and a severely reduced top speed. Got the machine to somewhere I could load it onto a pickup, and back to home it went.

Looking online, took apart the CVT and well as you can see in the pictures, there’s some grooves in both the primary and secondary faces. The primary was packed with old looking dry/cooked grease and there was decent grit/sand in there. No apparent oil leaks and belt was dry but looked glazed on the edges and a little chewed up along the teeth.

Can my primary and secondary be machined and/or maybe a die grinder with a Scotch pad (Father-in-law has a garage so he has a variety)? If not, guess I better try to find a good used replacement (sigh).

Also, the finned side of the primary sheave also looks like it has "surface cracks" after I cleaned it all up?

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, I am not experienced at all with atv repairs and I usually get reamed at the dealership. I honestly don’t have that kind of cash kicking around right now for that bill.

Thanks and sorry for the long read.

Greasing 2015 Sportsman 570

I was out today greasing my suspension and I thought I read somewhere that there is a grease fitting somewhere on the drive shaft that should be done too. I spent quite a bit of time trying to find one but didn’t find anything. Anyone know anything about this or if I read false information.

Good day!

Well I recently acquired a used 2008 Kodiak (Grizzly) 450 4×4 and ofcourse first run out let me down. 🙁 Rather disappointed really but nevertheless chance you take when buying used and not having a lot of experience with atv repairs.

I’ll post up another thread to discuss in the appropriate forum, but "Hi!" to everyone here!
