I was riding my atv a couple weekends ago and while I was riding my battery voltage alert came on the screen. I thought it was odd and thought that it might have been my hand warmers so I turned them off and it continued to drop. Come to find out my winch switch was broken and stuck in the "in" position. Has anyone had a problem with these? The dealer wants $100 for one!!! Seems outrageous for something I use mainly for my plow. Just seeing if im the only one with this problem.

I have a 2012 polaris 500. I’d like to put some tracks on my bike and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with after market power steering? The couple of videos I’ve found says there almost as good as one rhe come with the bike?

I picked up an 86 TRX250. just the standard one…not the 250R. Lower steering stem bearing is gone. Race cracked to pieces and its just gone. Part 50302-ha8-000 is the race. Part discontinued, and cant find anywhere.

So….looking for replacement suggestions, redneck engineering ideas, or something to make this still useable. Surely there is SOMETHING that can swap in? I didn’t think it would be too difficult…but perhaps I was mistaken.

any thoughts/help would be appreciated.

I’m new to the site and not sure if I’m asking this question in the right area of the forum. I’m looking at buying a HMF slip on exhaust for my 2011 sportsman 500. Is it a good exhaust to have and do I need to do any jetting ? Also I already have a K&N air filter in the bike if that has anything to do with the exhaust.

Found a cdi box for the low low are they worth the money?

Honestly guys I have a beaten up Honda. The plastics are beaten up and because I am not the original owner I don’t know what model it is. I have narrowed it down from the:
1992 Honda TRX 250x
or the
2003 Honda TRX 300EX.

But it does not really matter as they use mostly similar parts. This is an awesome bike and want to make it look awesome too. I would love for your input to see your mods on the next modifications:
Front bumper
Rear Grab Bar
Exhaust
New Plastics
New Seat
New Wheels and Tires

I will send a picture later today to show you the state of it. I appreciate your help and thank you guys.

Just curious where different members do their recreational riding. Flat forested trails, low wetland riding, mountain Forest Service trails? Unless I’m looking in the wrong place I don’t see too many photos of the scenery with ATV’s in the foreground and where folks ride. I have the great privilege of mountain trail riding and have only scratched the surface of the area we have available to us. Looking forward to the 2016 riding season.
