2015 Sportsman 1000 gear problems

I bought a brand new 2015 Sportsman 1000. Before I even put a mile on it I put 28 inch tires on it with a clutch kit rated for 29.5’s. I added a 2 inch lift, snorkels and relocated the radiator. The first day I rode it I broke the front two axles. I got those fixed and the next week while going through some thick mud, I heard something pop. I thought it was another axle but all four tires were still turning. Then I realized that I had no reverse. My gear selector would not move. I attempted to winch myself out and that freed my gear selector to where I could shift it into low. Now my high and low works just fine but I still don’t have reverse. Any idea what this could be??

Rear brakes keep locking/ master cylinder

bizarre issue this weekend,
the brake fluid seemed to keep expanding…
the left rear brake lever would get harder n harder to pres, finally, u cant press it anymore and the wheels are locked. was going down the road and it locked. i unscrwed the banjo bolt on the master cylinder to release some presure, that worked, but this happened a dozen times or more all day while riding.

why would the brake fluid expand al the sudden?
calipers are fine, not locked or anything. its the fluid, soon as i open release some fluid, it presses fine then later its like its full again and cant press it at all.

2012 Polaris 550 xp tire up size choices

I’m looking at getting some new tires for my 550XP. I’m currently purchasing some 14" 4+3 wheels and would like some input on tire size. I would like to go as big as I can without costly mods and of course without rubbing.

Please feel free to share your brand and tire size if you have direct experience.

Can not find any post about rear axles.

08 sportsman 500 efi. I am changing the left rear axle and having ungodly issues with it. First I tried a axle puller.the half shaft split. So tried prying the yoke off the trans to no avail. Even used a little heat with it that was a big no. So took it out side and chained it to a tree drilled 2 holes in the yoke for a bolt to slip through it, and put a chain on it and other end to my truck. The bolt bent. I oiled it up good a couple times, Tonight I lubed it up again and letting it sit overnight, gonna try again in the morning. Am I missing something? I did do a couple gogle searches and tried everything that I found. Anyone have any other suggestions? If I do ever get this off I will be using antisieze and thinking about putting a light coat of silicone around the axle where it meets trans. This is ridiculous.

Old school kodiak/Big Bear.

I see all of these threads showing love to the new model Kodiak/Big Bears. It seems that the older versions get no love. I made this thread so the old schools get the love they deserve. Lol 😆💃🖒. Post pics of ya rigs here. Show em off for everyone to see. They can be stock or modded.

2012 Honda Rancher

I’m having problems with my heck engine light and oil light coming on when I slow down and then it dies. I can ride it and it runs fine, but many times while slowing down and even after down shifting as I slow down, the lights still command one it dies. It starts right back up, but has the same problem repeatedly. Any ideas? I really appreciate it.

Thanks David
