1987 TRX 125 starting problem

Well gentlemen…. this thing is going to be the death of me…. Carb rebuilt, neutral safety switch by passed,CDI box is good. All grounds are good.On a good day it will fire right up and run all day. But somedays it will fire and after I go to try and crank it over again no spark. If anyone has identified the fix to this chronic issue please let me know.

1986 Honda TRX 200XS verse TRX 250

Hi, I have owned a couple of 1986 Honda TRX 200SX machines in the past but had to sell them I thought they were great looking and fun all around machine. I think I liked them better then the 2004 TRX 300 I had. Anyway, I am looking for one again but noticed a 1986 Honda TRX 250 (not 250R) in my area. It looks very much like the 200SX. I just like the way they did the fenders and such back then. What is the real difference in performance between these two machines. Quickness, top speed , handling? I know the 200SX was considered a milestone machine and is pretty sporty. I just do not know much about the 250. Below is the picture of the 250 and a 200SX Thoughts? Thanks

Went to the dark side

So, I thought I would buy a new 2016 grizzly but I just didnt think there were enough upgrades to warrant a new Grizz and I ride in tight woods so the turning radius/ first year issues kept me away. I used to own a Prairie 650 and loved the motor, test rode a 2016 Brute 750 and couldnt leave without it. Its not as plush as my grizz, but it handles great, sounds sweet and the motor ( closed loop FI)……..omfg its amazing! So if anyone is looking for something different I highly recommend a new BF750. Here are a couple pics of my babies…..the Grizz has served me well so I cant bring myself to sell it yet….

New here…hello!

Hi,

I’m Annie. New to this forum…

I just picked up a 1986 Honda TRX200SX. My first ever quad.
She runs like a top!

Of course I have things I need to fix/replace, and figured this site would be a good place to start!

EHS Racing

After waking up at 640ish this morning i decided, wow, i could make it to Rockingham and back before my wife noticed i was missing. So i bounced up to Rockingham (2hr drive from Conway SC) to check out the shop… unannounced so could have been a wasted drive but hey, 40 and retired. Arriving there I got to meet Eric there and see some of their operations. Gotta say, i would love to have that shop! As i have not yet purchased my new grizzly i have been acquiring all of my accessories (see signature) and purchased a tuner for my non-existent super grizz. Well they currently were out of stock and said they would ship it out as soon as the new batch came in. Cant wait till i can put all the parts on!

Thanks for taking time out of your uber busy shop for a random weirdo popping up to your shop!:peace:
