2008 grizzly 700 stator finally kicked the bucket today

So i finally have a day off and some nice weather and i go for a rip on the quad..right off the batt i see my 12v cig lighter display is not showing 14.7 volts like usually..it is at 12.1 with the lights on..so i am assumming the stator has finally had it..i cam back to the shop to verify the voltage with a meter off the batter and got the same 12.1 v..

So is this the RM stator i need to fix this? I dont think i want to bother doing the oil line upgrade since i got 8000+km on this one now..thanks for any insight! Here is the link i think i need to order from..

New guy here with Another 660

I’m new to the Grizzly world. Wasn’t really in the market for one but came across a deal I couldn’t pass up. It needs some TLC but nothing I shouldn’t be able to handle. Not sure of the year but think it’s a 2006.
I would like to do whatever mods there are for this thing. I’ve browsed briefly and saw mention of a couple things to do for overrides of starting and shifting??
Can someone point me in the right direction as to what I should do first and how to do it????
And of course i’ll want to be doing performance upgrades as well so i’m looking for suggestions. I want to keep it fairly quiet so no loud exhaust.

04 Carb switch

I have a 04 Polaris ATP with a 500 HO engine. I want to put a new carb on it. What is the difference between a regular Sportsman 500HO carb and a ATP 500HO Carb. They look the same to me. I can’t seem to find a listing where it lists the ATP and the sportsman carbs will interchange. Can I make this happen.? What’s the difference?
