So I’ve got a ’15 Sportsman 570 and a ’16 RZR S 1000. Just got new wheels and tires for the RZR so figured I would try the OEM RZR wheels and Dirt Commanders on the Sportsman. I know they are the same bolt pattern but the RZR wheel didn’t seem to be ‘hub-centric’ when I tried it. The Sportsman hub has those 4 tabs that stick out on the hub for the crappy 12" wheels with the big hole in the middle?
RZR isn’t like that at all. So if the bolt pattern for RZR and Sportsman is both 4/156, what am I missing? Sorry the crappy explanation, just not sure what I am missing. I even took the center cap off the Sportsman hub and tried it. The lug bolts seems smaller?
Here is a pic of the wheels and tires from the RZR I’m trying.
I have my ricochets coming Monday and will sell the factory plates..like new, 200 easy break in miles on dirt roads around the house. What’s a fair price?
My 2008 Rancher 420 has been sitting up for a while. I had to replace the battery and I changed the oil and it started right up and drove it around for about 20 minutes with no issues. When I got it back to the house it started sputtering and died and will not restart. it turns over but acts like it is not getting fuel.
I read the forums and I can hear a clicking from what I think is the relay behind the battery, but don’t hear the fuel pump humming. I am not much with electronics but I unplugged the electrical connection on top of the fuel pump and touched the black and red multimeter connections to that wire connector and I am getting no feedback. Not sure if I am doing that correctly ?? So first should I be getting a steady current at that electrical connector, and exactly how do I test that with a multimeter? Second I am not sure what I am looking for in terms of the fuel pump relay what does it actually look like and how could I change it, or test to see if it is bad? Does anyone have a picture of it that they could post. Any feedback is appreciated.
Took the wheeler out for the first time since rebuild. First long ride that is and was just wondering after 2 hours of trail riding does 295 head temp seem hot I have done no oil cooler mods and it was about 80 degrees today…thanks
I know I’ve read of similar problems like this on here but I can’t remember the verdict. Yesterday my son wanted to ride his ETX and then came in the house and said he needed my help. He said it was cutting off and losing power when giving it gas. I cranked it and hit the gas, and it acted like it was going to die. Let off the throttle and it was back to idling. I let it run and it finally acted OK. He took and said he didn’t have a problem with it any more.
I took it out to ride it today to give it a workout, and it did the same thing with me. On startup it didn’t want to go when hitting the throttle. I let it sit and idle while I took my helmet and put it back in the house and when I came back I put it in gear and gave it some gas and it moved OK and then off I went.
It almost seems like I have to let it warm up, but I never did before. Plus I thought with fuel injection it didn’t really need warming up like with a carburetor. What do I need to check if this persists? My dad put gas in it last week, so I thought it was odd that it started after that. But he said he’s been using it in the lawnmowers and they’ve been fine.
Hi all. Bought two 2016 Sportsman 570 EPS last month. Working on break in, but slow going. Hopefully more time in a couple of weeks to start getting out more now that school is ending and kids are out of sports for a couple of months. Tough finding places to ride in Ohio without spending a ton of money.
So far looking through a ton of threads on here for ideas and info on these machines so liking the site!
Can’t find a good thread on trailer selection…would appreciate being pointed to a thread on that topic. I’m sure it’s out there. Right now I have a small trailer and looking at using the truck bed, but interested in a 3 place aluminum that won’t break the bank!
Thanks. Looking forward to getting deeper into the site.
https://i.ytimg.com/vi/yoDPce4Y8LU/hqdefault.jpg looks just like this, but with black seat. not sure if it is 4×4 or not just got a quick look at it. Is it worth to buy? hasn’t been started in awhile but i dont think she wants it. might get for cheap(100 or so). Also, i already have an atv, but was wondering if it would be good for pulling a little trailer for hauling deer or hunting stuff and coolers probably 200 pounds max? wouldn’t really drive it around much other than for that. Also is there alot of problems with this model around this year? thx, I will try to get a better look at it next week.
I’ve searched countless numbers of times and still can’t find any answers or possible solutions. Anyways my gade blows the gauge cluster fuse, and after reading a few threads I found some people saying mud was in there tailight plugs, well since I do not have a tailight anymore I figured that was my problem and cleaned plug until it looked brand new. Even wrapped and electrical taped the plug preventing any water/mud from getting inside and today it still blew the fuse. Unlike other threads where most people continuously blow the fuse, I don’t and mine is very random. Also checked resistance in the plug and read 5.32kohms. I’ve taken the plastics off and could find no shorts or anything.. Any help here would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Just wanted to know people’s opinions. ..I do a good bit of trail riding, but also like to play in the mud…I want to go with 27" and I’ve narrowed it down to Zillas, mega mayhems, or the wild thangs. ..I would like something that is fairly decent on the trail as well as mud. I have a Dalton industries clutched 500L. …any suggestions, or experience with any of these tires? :th_smiliepullhair:
