Bike is overheating here is what i found cooling fan will turn on for a short time when bike heats up then will stop. I found the 25 amp fuse to hot to touch. When the fuse cools off the fan starts back up and then quits and so on… It seems the fan is drawing alot of current. I can spin the fan freely. Do i need a new fan or should i be looking for something else???

Balljoint upgrade for Outty?
I’m trying to order some new balljoints online but I’m hittin’ a wall…..
My 2013 comes up as part# 706201393 lower…. and part# 706201394 upper. These are also spec’d for 2014.
The 2015/16 part# changes to 706202045 lower…. and 706202044 upper.
I’m finding online most vendors are cross referencing the 2015/16 part #s but not much for 2013/14 models.
Does anyone know if the 2015/16 balljoints will fit my 2013?

Question about your skid plates
Can you add the holes for the front and rear differential drain plugs to the aluminum plates so we don’t have to take them off to change the oil in them? I am uncertain about the rear but I know your plates cover up the front drain plug.
Running rough
Hey guys. Haven’t used my 2016 XMR 1000 a lot. 72 miles. However I was riding this weekend and went through some water. Maybe two feet deep. Ran fine for the next hour or so but then was. Bit hard to start twice and now running poorly. I would say sputtering. Starts but sputters badly at about 2000 RPMs and above. Looked in air box. No water. Thoughts and or suggestions? Thx.

Tire size vs rim size
So now that I’m looking for tires, I’m wondering just how exact the tire size needs to be according to rim size. I understand that 12" rim diameter needs to have a 12" tire and that a 12" tire can be 25", 26", 27" outside diameter. Now, my main question is: I have 25x8x12 rims in the front and 25x11x12 rims in back. Will 27x9x12 tires fit on my front 8×12 rims, and if so, is there a detriment to the fitment because the rims are only 8×12 and not 9×12? And if I go that route, and use the 11x12s in back, will I feel like maybe my front is too high or to low or something?
