New to the site. Been riding since 2001, I own a 2002 Honda TRX500FA and love it. I ride mostly in the desert in San Bernardino County but would love to discover new riding areas in CA. Not a very good mechanic but hoping to learn more from this site and it’s members.

so I have the 5 year warranty on my outlander L 500 DPS, i was driving towards where we cross the river and long story short my front end went in and when i tried to save it it rolled into the water, it was still running so i ran to grab it and it floated deeper, then hydro locked 🙁 i did all the regular things, drain the exhaust, and flush the oil 5 times until there was no water, and sprayed off my air filter. it starts, but now im scared i will experiecne problems down the road!so with my $350 deductible on my insurance im thinking i will just have it maintanced at the dealership to prevent problems down the line. my question is, if i do this, what happens to my warranty? if i bring it in for flooding it and insurance pays for all repairs, will i be back in the game with my warranty? in other words, how do i get out of this as cheap as possible in the long run? all answers would be greatly appreciated!!!
I figured this is the place for this question. So I’ve been looking for a utility-currently just have a 250 honda ex. I haven’t had the chance to ride many other than my friends Polaris 570eps.
After much much research the new Grizzly was on the top of the list. A dealer had an open house and I was able to ride it but only for 10 minutes. I like everything about the ’16 fit/finish and looks. I was wanting to ride it and confirm this is the one. When going around some corners (and this was only a dealer track) it seemed to have a some body roll. I don’t know if it was the perceived higher center of gravity but it did feel a little tippy for lack of a better word.
Looking at the forum there are post about tippyness but that seems to be pre 2014. My friend with the popo said the same thing. I rode his after and I didn’t have that same tippy feeling.
Question–Maybe its something to get used to? We go on tighter trails at speed and I’m worried about that same feeling in that situation.
Any comments would be appreciated. I don’t want to throw down that kind of $$ with this question in my mind.
These are the wheels and tires off my 2015 Sportsman 570. They have exactly 122 easy miles on them. Mostly hard-pack wet trails, only time they’ve seen concrete is from the garage to the trailer in the driveway. They are still in perfect condition and the wheels have no dents or scrapes. If you want more pics, PM me your number and I’ll text you all you want.

Hey guys I’m going to stay at Wild Willy’s atv resort it’s my first time going to the Hatfield & McCoy trails and we are planning on riding 3 trail systems that are close by..Indian Ridge , Pocahontas & Pinnacle creek. Does anyone have any suggestions on food , trails , do’s and don’ts around there. Can’t find much info on this resort has anyone stayed there…thanks.
Bought a 95′ (I think) Xplorer 400 and the shifter wiggles around and won’t shift the transmission at all. It won’t move the two rods going to the transmission any, doesn’t even wiggle em, so are parts available for that or is there a common part to wear out or deteriorate or break in there or anything else you can lead me too?
