650 Outlander Max water pump

My wife and I finally got our first ride in this weekend. We had a blast! Put on 55 mi on winding, sandy forest trails.
I had the water pump seal replaced at the dealer under warranty before we went, as there was coolant in the drain tube. I checked it and there is about 2 in. of coolant in the tube again. About 900 mi on now.
Should I have them do it again, or do they always seep?
I also noted an annoying loud resonating type noise cruising around 25 mph or so. Hi or low gear. I didn’t have help to run it on Jackstands to see if it was the rear diff, or trans. Fluid level is good, but do have seepage at the pinion seal. I had wiped it clean before the trip.

Any advice? Normal or pursue problems?

Honda recon help?

Hey all. I got a Honda recon off a guy. They had the top end off of it. The original cylinder was junk. He got a different one that was good. I didn’t realize it at the time, but the top end came off an 04 and I have a 00. They are different but was wandering if I could use the top end off the 04 on the 00? Also does anyone know what the numbering on the engine means so I can verify what I actually have? Thanks
