Trying to decide on a front bumper. Rad relocate is a while away and I need a bumper that’ll hold my superwinch Terra. How does everyone feel about this look? I kinda like it, it’s different:
I rode my 2016 outlander Max xt 1000 for the first time today since March. I was talking to my neighbor as he was admiring my machine. He has a Yamaha grizzly. I left and when I backed up there were two small oil spots on his driveway. My dealership service guy seems to think its the gearbox overflow oil. He says the gearbox on these machines is fill to the hole style. He says the first few times I will have some overflow.
No overheating issues. Unit seemed to run fine.
These were very very small drips. And very little accumulation of oil on the frame. I had to search long and hard to even find any drop spots.
Just wanted to what anyone else thinks.
My service guy says if it continues bring it in. Otherwise it should be fine he says.
I recently rebuilt my motor and since I had the cover off I replaced the clutch plates only. The engine is now strong and it seem to run great at first. Now when the engine is cold the clutch will slip bad. It really will not move for a while. In reverse it will hit the rev limiter and craw and then when you put it in first it barely moves. Once hot it runs good but does seem to slip from time to time. Has anyone seen this problem? Should I just do a full rebuild on it? On the 400ex the last clutch plate goes into a different slot. If i did not do that would it have these symptoms? Just trying to figure out what it is before I tear it all apart.
I have a 08 Grizzly 700 eps. It’s got 1260 miles and 265 hours. I’m getting a bad noise out of the belt housing when I shut the Atv off. Need help. Could it be a just the belt, bearings , or is my clutch going out?
Ok I bought this four three hundred the motor runs fine and the 4×4 is in good shape but to fix the reader end it would need the rack an pinion and the case that it goes in cause it is stripped it needs all racks and back plastic do u guys think I should fix or use as a parts bike and also do u think 300 was to much?Attachment 44801
wow..its about 84 degrees here in new york and i just got my first taste of hot legs. it was so hot i had to adjust my footing to stay away from it.
took off my side cover and found out what you guys have talking about, the cvt vent going into the heat shield.
what i shitty setup that is!! needless to say ill be on that making some kind of modification to it.
to me there is no logic to run the cvt exhaust like that, can-am has some good stuff going on here and its too bad they have to do dumb shit like that.:th_smiliefrustrated
Can anyone that has purchased both products compare the pros and cons of each. This is for a Grizzly 450 with IRS. The Aluminum products set contains the A-arm covers for approximately the same price as the belly only plates from Ricochet.
looking for the best way to get the old ones out, an the new ones in. i want to save money as well. big hammer? pickle fork? special honda tool? can this be done without a lot of disassemble?
