GARAGE / MOST MONEY SPENT.. ???

So ,, can anyone figure out the whole system that is used , to determine the lists in the garage ?

I see a Can Am would be in top spot , with $5,000 worth of engine work ,and over $4,000 in wheels.. Except a Grizz with a Can Am’s suck mod took it away by $1 .. ??
followed by another grizz that seems legit, and then a Rhino(a UTV)?

Why/How does anyone spend $12,000 + dollars on mods for $10,000 machines ? Why are Can Am’s even allowed on the list ? Rhino’s are at least a Yamaha…
"The GRIZZLY GARAGE is pretty much for GRIZZLYS"

I spent alot on mods ,, but Even at $6,090.00 (shhh, don’t tell my wife) I don’t even come close to those numbers… ?

For fun , I put the cost of my Grizz ($9,700.00) into the mods list , which put me in top spot over night ,, but a moderator soon noticed , and removed it. LOL

So ,, I guess I need to start searching the internet for that Can Am’s suck ! mod.
Anyone have one for sale ?

Crankshaft oil leak

I have a 2001 Sportsman 500 HO. The drive belt shredded last week. Some of the belt was wrapped around the clutch and around the drive shaft. All those pieces were removed so I could replace the belt. I ran the engine and found that I have oil spraying from the fins on the inboard side (next to the engine) of the clutch. I think the crankshaft seal may be leaking. There is no oil residue inside the clutch cover so I’m certain that this leak is new since the parts of the old drive belt were removed. Can this seal be replaced or repaired without taking the crankcase apart?

Cons on buying a used 2003 Rincon

Ok, so the other 2003 Rincon fell through but I found another one with 4600 miles on it and it is super clean. It is right st 4 hours away so it’ll be a drive to go and take a peek.
What do I need to look out for? Is it cold natured? Is there anything I am going to miss out on getting a machine this old? I’ve never bought used before and it does bother me. The people seem nice and all but the fact the machine is 13 years old makes me worried. I plan on keeping whatever Honda I decide on and am worried about the age of this one. All I’ve ever had were Ranchers.

STM secondary

I installed qsc primary and a rage secondary about a year ago, and ever sence then I have had a loud clunk noise when my belt engages.

After some research I found out that noise was to go away not get worse when upgrading to a STM?

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

SC1 – Details

I’ve got a can of SC1 just waiting to use on my machine. Most of the threads I can find on this have mixed information.

Dulls plastics.
Makes em look great.
All in the same threads.

Hoping for some more recent information on this!

Specifically for me, wondering how the 15′ Limited matte painted plastics react to it. I’ll try it on an inconspicuous spot soon if nobody has tried themselves.

If everyone lists the machine they’ve used it on and the colors of the plastics I’ll update the OP so others can find the information quickly!
