Was just about to write a "bogging" thread until I decided to try my other keys.
My Grey key seems to have way more power than both my black keys. I’m guessing the dealer programmed them backwards. Grey being the fast and blacks being the slow.
When the black key is in it bogs pretty bad on acceleration…like it’s not getting enough gas. Cruises along nice an dandy until you hit the gas(Seems like it makes the engine miss too—runs rough on acceleration…even had a backfire). Even had a hard time going up a small hill(You would think that would be dangerous).
Anyway, what does the learning/limited key do to the performance? limit the gas the injectors are pumping? Wouldn’t that make it run extremely lean?
Hi, so I replaced the carb and didn’t hook the choke up correctly. It would not start. So, I thought about it and I manually engaged the choke cable to started right up four or five times but the idle isn’t adjusted and just stalled out when I gave a little gas. Tried to fire it up after that and it won’t. Is it possible to flood it for two days if you keep screwing with the choke manually while trying to start it? Thanks, probably a stupid question I have.? – Dave

So i know this is a yamaha site but im looking to buy my dad a wheeler for fathers day and ive found a couple early 2000s polaris 4x4s but most of them are chain driven. Has any body ever had one of these? Are they any good?

I’m ordering new rims and tires… I would like to get the Maxxis Zillas AND would like 12 wide in the rear and 10 wide in the front.. Seems only way to do this is go to 27x12x14 & 27x10x14 OR, go 28x12x12 & 28x10x12
I have a brand new set of (on another atv) 26x11x12 & 26x9x12 but like the 1" wider
I really like 5 speed Utility ATVs with automatic clutches, but the only Yamaha utility ATV that was a 5 speed that was also bigger than a 250cc ATV was the Yamaha Big Bear 400cc. I am NOT a fan of how the Big Bear looks so i was wondering if there were any other Yamaha Utility ATVs that have a semi automatic transmission that are bigger than a 250cc engine
