Brown Mountain OHV Trail System

I had never heard of this place until a few days ago. We decided last minute to take a trip and happened to find this place online. Stayed about 2 miles from the trailhead. We had an awesome time riding for a couple days. Decided to take trail #9 down the mountain on the way out the final day (2 riders are not very experienced….neither am I in this way actually….but told them to be smart and follow my lines.) Trail 9 was a beast but fun as hell!! Any of you ever been here?? Have a few videos but I need to edit them a bit before sharing.

2012 rear axle removal

I am trying to replace a left rear CV boot on my 2012 outlander max 800(G1). I have watched every video and every read post I can find but I cannot get the axle out. I have both hubs off, bottom of shocks unbolted, and used a strap to "snap" it lose from the diff. I just can’t seem to get the axle to pull out enough for it to clear the diff so I can remove it. I left the right axle snapped into the diff, do I have to remove it as well to allow the trailing arms to drop more? Or unbolt trailing arms? In the videos they axle easily clears the diff, but mine won’t. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

Finally decided to join the forum. Seems like there is a lot of helpful information on here. I have a 2016 700 SE and absolutely LOVE it! I mainly use it for hunting but try to hit the trails whenever possible! Look forward to talking with everybody and learning some new info. And maybe im wrong but i think its safe to say im probably the first one with a 234lb buck on the back of their 16 SE, what do ya think? Lol

570 For Sale

Looking to sell my 2015 570.😢 It has 30hr and 280 miles never been sunk, rolled, or abused. The only reason I’m selling is because I just bought a RZR. The machine has front and rear rack extenders, handguards, back up led, and $100 mechanics manual. I’m asking 5000 or best offer. The machine just had 25 hr service at Big#1 in Birmingham. Located in Warrior Al. call or text 205.305.8302.

28″ zillas clutch advice please

i have a 2016 grizzly and I recently installed 28 zillas on 12" rims now I need clutch advice. Im a all round trail rider with a mix of everything fast logging roads, slower technical sections lots of slower putting around in tight trails. until hunting season starts then I try to get into where no hunter has been, looking for the next "hot hunting" spot including the odd mud hole here and there nothing crazy, but my last mud hole i went in made me realize I really need a different clutch set-up as the power wasnt on tap and I needed a little running start to get things powered/revved up. Im not no mud bogger by anymeans but i will go through them if i come across them. Also I drag my game out of the bush and plow with it in the winter so still need workability of the bike. I will be going with a jbs sheave but as far as weights James recommended 17 gram weights and a gold spring with slugs. not that I dont think hes wrong with the recommendation just wondering what everyone else thinks of this set-up or a different set-up would be better

2000 sportsman 500- excessive prop shaft play

I was changing the oil when I noticed, but there is excessive play in the prop shaft, mainly in the front u-joints. The front differential and tranny doesn’t move, so that’s a good thing. I’m thinking I should replace my u-joints? Any help on parts of need or on the procedure would be greatly appreciated. Here’s a video showing what I’m talking about
