Hi there, first time post, I need a new battery for my 03 trx250ex. I know YUASA battery’s are great but been thinking about buying a lithium battery. Found a few on ebay for about 100 bucks, verses 50 bucks for a YUASA. Any advice would be great
Does anyone have a rear differential for a 300 Honda fourtrax in or around pikeville ky that they would like to trade to a front differential or a welder
Hello everyone I’m new to this forum and semi new with atvs. I currently have a 2000 Honda 400ex. I have owned it for a couple weeks the person I bought it off of said that the engine was just rebuild a couple years ago and a high compression piston was put into it along with kibble white racing valve springs. The problem I’m having is when I start it up whens its cold it makes a loud ting noise or tick noise. After 5-10 mins of riding it goes away. I just checked the valve adjustment and everything was perfect. The noise is definitely coming from the top right side of the engine. its also very weird that it will start and stop randomly without changing the idle speed. I have done a little research and keep reading about the mechanical decompressor making nose. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what might be causing this and if it is something i should be worried about. Here is a link to a video of the noise this was right after a started it up. Thank you in advance!
Hi, I have a 2000 Polaris Trail Boss 325. It is new to me. Recently, the handlebars have been heating up after 5 or 10 minutes of riding. It’s only the grips and there are no wires or labeld switches leading from or to the grips. Let me know if you need any information or pictures. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Just picked up my new Polaris last week and haven’t put much time on her at all. One thing I noticed right away was the amount of heat billowing out of the right lower header area. It was quite significant, enough by the end of the ride (1hr) to have my right foot on the fender avoiding the heat. I’ve owned and ridin ATVs and dirt bikes my whole life so I to think that I have a good idea of what excessive heat is. Long story short not ceramic coating, going to try a good DEI heat wrap kit. Finished the wrap, happy with results thus far. Going to paint with sealant and reinstall tomorrow. I’ll report back with more info and Pics.
hi all, there was a couple guys that wanted to know what i was going to do so here it is. parts: silicone 45 degree elbow 2.75 to 2.25 inches got on ebay for 6 bucks, this part is the key. 1 1/2 to 1 1/2 rubber coupling, 2 inch braided hose, at first i was going to use the braided hose for the whole thing but its too big to get plastic on so i had to go down to 1 1/2 black hose that i had lying around. you need to cut about 1/2 inch off the small end of the elbow and off the 1/12 to 1/12 coupler. put the coupler inside the elbow and then a piece of the braided hose inside the coupler to reduce down to the size you need. the big end of the elbow will slide right on the machine outlet and i put a clamp on it. then run your hose accordingly. hope the pics help and i had to do it this way to get plastic back on right. feel free to ask any questions and i will help
i got all of the stuff at home depot except for the elbow..less than 20 bucks for everything.
