Jericho Trails

Just got back from riding Jericho Mt. State Park in Berlin New Hampshire. The trails were awesome. The wife had a few white knuckle moments but that’s how it goes. They have just opened the trails for the 2016 season. Lots of loose rock some runoff ditches but over all very good. We had the area to ourselves, very dusty but perfect weather. Very little mud but all trails open. Even the bridge to town was open. A days ride, a soak in the Hotel pool, a few cocktail’s, dinner, bed, and do it again. That’s Livin

Brake free play

I searched but did not find what I was looking for. I was servicing my 2014 Grizzly 550 and see in the owners manual it states that the brake levers should have no free play. My front and rear levers both move around 3/4-1" before the brakes are on solid. The brakes work fine and I do not remember if they moved this far when it was new. I now have 1100 miles and 117 hours. I may try to bleed the brakes to see if this helps. I am over thinking this or should I just leave it alone?

Outlander L 500 with LED bulbs!

Swapped out my regular bulbs for some LED’s. I really like them, they are just as bright as HID’s, and there is no headaches with ballasts and whatnot. Ordered them off eBay from Formula J-87. Negotiated the price with them and everything. Quick customer service and surprisingly fast shipping considering I’m in Ontario and they came from somewhere near Sam Francisco. $40 American, $10 shipping! They ate hs1, dual beam, 20 watt low beam, 28 watt high beam. You get two bulbs in the kit. The ones you get are h4. An hs1 is a low powered h4 so they fit. Because they’re LED’s, they’re already low powered so no worries there. I got 6000k colour temperature, any higher and they’ll start looking blue, which I didn’t want. However they do come with a tinting film to make them the colour you want! Also a built in heat sink. …they take a little mcguyvering to get in but they look great!

Most purchased parts

Me and a friend are opening a small atv shop. We are buying some used atv and bikes to fix up and flip. We are also wanting to offer parts. I was curious what parts is best to keep in stock? We are trying to not go into debt with a truck load of stock.

We are leaning toward bearings, filters, chains, oils, ball joints, brakes then few add ons for some of the more popular bikes in our area.

Any input would be greatly appreciated
