Softer Grips and Throttle Extender or Twist Grip?

My hands get sore while riding and I’m wondering if softer grips would make much difference. Pro-Taper Pillow Top ATV Grips have good reviews at Rocky Mountain.com. Any other suggestions?

My right hand gets more sore than my left and that is probably because of the squeeze from my thumb pressuring my fingers. For this I’m considering a twist grip. The Handy Throttle from Cabela’s seems popular. It is a twist mechanism that operates the thumb lever. The thumb lever can still be used instead of the twist grip. A disadvantage of this twist throttle is the grip foam looks real thin.

Another option is a throttle extender. This attaches to the throttle lever and makes it longer. It gives you much more leverage and it is a cheap option. ColemanĀ® Nonslip Thumb Assist Pro : Cabela’s

I road a motorcycle for several years so I am inclined to get a twist grip but the thumb extender looks like a good cheap simple option too.

Thanks for any comments.

Tactical black wear ?

Hi,
I am going to purchase a 2016 Grizzly next week. How does the matte black hold up ? it looks great sitting there in the show room but the finish seems soft, just lightly touching it with my finger nail seams to put a permanent mark in it and I know atv’s get scratched I’ve owned many although this is my first Grizzly. My second option is this painted grey. Thanks in advance for any replies.

09 rincon

Hi all new to site. Purchased an 09 Rincon with 167hrs. My question is it seems when I really get into the throttle it has a knock/rattle. From right side of motor? Once idled down it sounds fine? Thanks for any responses.

Hallo

Hi guys,
I’m 40+ and have been working on stuff since I was 5. Never taken anything to a mechanic and just figured it out for myself. I love wrenching and like to help out others when I can. Lots of started projects but fewer completed.lol
