Was taking the head apart tonight to make sure I had put the cam bearing s in correctly, meaning didn’t know if I had put in the seal side facing outward wich I didn’t. My bad! And the left or back cam bearing does not have a seal on it anymore wich I don’t think it did when I first put it together. But anyway, it’s that seal absolutely important? Any help would be great!

bought on Friday sunk on Saturday and sat in creek until Monday morning under water and mud. gets pulled out Monday morning they pull front cylinder plug and crank don’t know how long or how much.
on his way to dealer he stops by my house telling me they blew out all water from engine and warranty going to cover. they never removed rear plug on all the cranking they did. I drained over a gallon of oil/water first drain. filled with diesel 2x and drained cranked on each time, can’t get it to start turns over to slow. plugsout turns over a little faster. when I plug one of the spark plug holes with my finger and builds compression wont turn over any more. I can not turn primary clutch or rock it by hand. I do have 12v going to starter, jumped starter relay nothing different.
was going to test starter next, have to wait on clutch puller to do that. is there anything else I need to do or try before taking the engine apart. or is this engine gone? thanks
Finally got my new HTR’s slapped on and the clutch kit in. My thanks to Stitches for all the advice and questions answered. They stayed clean long enough for me to snap a pic.

I currently have 250 miles on my wheeler and already burnt up my belt.. Was wondering what size bolt I could use as the clutch puller instead of spending the money on the real one?

Changing the wife’s SP 500 transmission fluid and can make it if the AGL & AGL Plus can be mixed together otherwise I will have to go by more of the AGL.
I have both in partial quarts but forget what the difference is?
