honda trx500 (2011)

hi Mem’s

I have a rear hard cargo box, window fairing and front soft saddle bag from our 2011 trx500’s. These are brand new Honda parts, in the box / packaging they came in. What’s fair for all 3? $350.00

We will not be using these and should find them a new home.

Located in Toronto Ontario

Thx for the ad HondaATV !!

New Foreman

I spent the last 6 months shopping and finally pulled the trigger on a new Foreman, was looking at a Rubicon but decided the IRS might not be best for working some of my steeper property, the decider was that I got a smokin deal on this one. Appreciate this forum for the great info and help. Nice upgrade to my 87.

Can’t get new cargo box brake light to work

Anyone out there have a similar problem with wiring up an aftermarket cargo box with heated passenger grips and a tail/brake light? I’ve installed the box and hooked up the wiring as per the wiring diagram. The hand warmers work as they should, and so does the tail light, but I can’t get the brake light working. I’m a mechanic, not an electrician so I’m confused about the way the power runs thru the stock tail/brake light wires. This is what I’ve found so far……With the ignition on, the orange wire AND the red wire (see pics) both have 12V power. The orange wire feeds power to the tail light as it’s always on when the ignition is on. Here’s the confusing (to me) part…..When the brake pedal is pushed, the power on the red wire is gone. The middle black wire never has power, so I assume it is ground. According to the wiring diagram from the box manufacturer, Wes Industries, the brown wire coming from the cargo box is tail and the yellow is brake. I can connect brown to orange which gives me tail but how do I connect the yellow to give me brake? I’ve emailed the box maker but no response (yet). Big thanks to whoever can steer me in the right direction!
