Polaris rear foot risers for 570 Tourings

So, according to the Polaris accessory site, the foot riser kit #2877919 fits a 2014 Sportsman 570 Touring…

3" Passenger Foot Risers | Polaris ATV Store
(See attachment for where they say it fits our touring models)

Of course when I go to order the part number via my local dealers website, the 570 Touring isn’t listed as model the kit fits. Against my better judgement I figured the Polaris site is probably more accurate and order it anyways. :smashfreakB: Definitely not the right kit! :laugh2: Sent an e-mail to Polaris yesterday, haven’t heard back yet. Just figured I’d spread the word, though I’m probably the only dummy that tried. :dunce:

Anyone else have luck with a different part number or product?

Bruin only goes 5mph

2005 Yamaha Bruin 350 4×4
I bought this bike about 3 weeks ago, when I purchased it the owner said that it had a carburetor issue because he had been through some deep water recently and he figured it just got clogged up on accident. (It’s snorkeled).
I bought the bike for a good price considering it wasn’t working correctly.

Since then, I’ve done the following:

  • Replaced belt
  • Cleaned out the clutch assembly
  • Inspected wet clutch/one-way (good condition)
  • Replaced carburetor
  • Painted plastics (I enjoy painting)

Now I am stumped. The bike will rev up high in neutral, and engage the Primary clutch completely.

But, when put in gear/reverse, it acts like it’s bogging or that it’s rev limited, causing the clutch only to engage enough to push the bike around maybe 5mph.

Suspected problems:

  • Reverse-Limiter somehow working in Forward

If anyone has any advice, I know these bikes are a close to identical to grizzly/kodiaks and any help would be appreciated.
Keep in mind, previous owner claims to have replaced all interior engine parts. Piston/rings, Valves, Timing kit etc. Due to timing chain stretching and putting a valve into the piston.

Runs like a top in idle, revvs great in neutral. Just won’t move in gear.

Greetings from Florida!

Just picked up my first Yamaha Quad, 2005 Bruin 4×4. When I bought it it had an issue of only being able to move about 5mph. It’s been 3 weeks and I have yet to diagnose the correct issue. It’s not wet clutch and not carburetor so I’m super stumped! Hopefully this forum and it’s members can help me figure it out so I can be out four wheeling again, really miss it!

New headlights for Grizz

They are 4-light projector light´s with new plastics. Founded them from loeffler-quads.de and i had to have them.
They are Hella`s made projector lights. H7 bulps E-marked. Comes with complete set, lights and plastics..
Not cheap, but hope they are 100% Hella quality and better than those shitty 4" crome lights that i have now, because of the road legal reason…

Randomly stops and blow

I have a Polaris Predator 500 with electrical wiring altered by the former owner, I was with him in service and has all right, the problem is that it stops at random, after 15, 20 km and after the first stop stops more often, especially it stops when the lights turn on. I thought it may be due to lights, consuming too much current, but doing the same problem with the lights off, might be the spark? or maybe a relay?
I hope someone can give me good advice
Thanks :sad2:

2011 polaris sportsman 850 XP EPS clucking and late engagement of clutch

Hey guys, just purchased a 2011 sportsman 850 XP EPS

Has a few issues.

1) when you key on or start the atv the fuel gauge on the cluster / lcd shows all the bars (full) and the logo and then it just goes away. Reads nothing for the fuel , weather the fuel tank is full or empty. I also noticed the shift position P N R H L the letters are half missing like the display is going out. I was guessing I will need a new gauge because of that but is that the issue with my fuel or should I be looking at a wiring issue.. Usually when the sensor in the tank goes bad it reads empty or full all the time. This reads nothing.. Its basically like when you key on the atv your check engine light comes on for a minute and then shuts off , which is normal. Thats what happens with my fuel gauge too. Any ideas?

2) When I go to accelerate from a stand still there seams to be a big delay before the clutch engages and the hole machine lunges forward hard. It also clunks pretty good while I am trying to get the machine going. Once it goes its fine.. This is what I have found so far. Rear right upper a Arm moves alot when pushing the top of the tire in and puling out. Also looks like the hub bearing could be loose.. I have ordered a bushing kit and bearing and hope to have it here in the next few days.. Thinking that could be a part of the clunking noise. So plan to fix that before moving forward. Has anyone else had a high rpm engaging issue with there machine or a clunking issue while trying to accelerate? I asked the previous owner if he had ever done any work on the PVT. He stated he had a friend who had some springs and weights that had taken it apart and done some things to it for him because he had purchased mayhem 27" tires. But he said he paid nothing to his friend that did it for him and has no idea what he did, so now I am concerned who knows what he did.. I was thinking of purchasing a EPI clutch kit just so I know whats in there.. I do want to also ask if I install the EPI kit what can I expect.. I want to be able to ease in to the throttle without it lunging so I can go rock climbing.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Look forward to hearing some of your responses.
