Made my winch choice

I really wanted the Warn (owned 3 in the past and never let me down), but the price was right on the Superwinch LT3000 and I went with it. I have heard that Superwinch has a pretty good track record too. I paid $170 for the unit and it was really the best name and spec for the money.

I am certainly going to strip off the wire rope and replace it with a synthetic rope from Custom Splice (link below). Custom Splice is a great source for synthetic winch rope. I bought CS ropes for two of my previous Warns and they were great.

2016 sportsman 850 issue. Need help.

2016 Sportsman 850 is getting real hot exhaust glowing red/orange. Seen a post saying to pull the spark plug and see what color it is to see if it’s running rich/lean/normal. Did that and spark plug looks fine. So could anyone tell me what else I could check/do to solve this issue? Polaris customer service is useless. Thanks.

Speedo Kit Install: 86 TRX350

Speedo kit install going better than I expected. mounted the display but cut away more of the dash than needed–no biggie. Mounted the sensor and bracket to the frame just to the inside of the rear brake pedal–there’s a threaded post for this bracket mount. Pulled the oil cooler hose so I could remove the counter shaft cover–now to look at why I have to remove the speedo drive plug that’s already in there with one from the kit. They both look the same

The short ~1ft drive cable fit
