Ok, I am trying to install Motorsports nerf bars on my ’87 trx250r. The nerf bars are supposed to bolt to the framework and also bolt to the pegs. They do not reach the pegs fully, they are about 1.5in away. I was like wth. Any ideas what could be the issue? Thanks
I thought that I’d join this site to get in touch with others with the same interests. My wife and I bought a ’13 outty Max-XT (2 up) 800. We love getting out and racking up the miles and getting good and dirty. I figure only better things can happen by joining up here.
Thanks all! I look forward to meeting a bunch new people and learning/sharing ideas.
Sooo i took my grizz for a swim. It died mid hole, over the gas tank. Everything was full of water, every intake, ect. Towed it out of the puddle. Stood it on end drained about 5 litres of muddy water out of the exhaust & air box. Took the plug out and turned it over x amout of times. Drained oil 4x times & filter. (Wasnt milky to start with for some reason???) started right up ( after i stole my wifes ignition solonoid ) ran fine but carb was plugged up so whenever i gave it gas it died. Which is fine. Towed it to the trucks. Got it home. Started it up and it was like a steam engine. Coulds and coulds of white smoke everywhere. Smells like an old go cart almost running too rich. Let it sit for a day came back and started it. Same thing. Top end rebuild maybe?? Any help is appreciated.
How many of you guys have put the 87 Honda foreman 350 plastic onto a 1986Honda fourtrax 350 ? i was wondering what the difference is? I noticed the lights are different and the foreman racks mounted in a different location vs the 86 fourtrax 350 ? Chime in if you have done it please!
Looking for a diagram of the rearend for a 2wd fourtrax 300. Mine is worn out and I am looking forward to replacing the bearings and the rear brake components. Thanks in advance
Hello, I’m a new member to this Yamaha forum. I have a 2006 grizzly 660. The battery keeps going dead I replaced it with a new one, and when I would use the bike the battery would get really hot and a buzzing sound coming from the battery after you turned the bike off! Now the battery is completely dead again but starts fine with the pull cord!
A friend and I took a short ride just north of Idaho City just to get out. I don’t think the rocks liked us there. It you look and the picture of the rocks it looks like they are flipping us off.
1st post, new to forum..I have 2015 scrambler 850 ho, recently added 3" Outkast lift, and 30" monster mayhems.. went riding after all upgrades, now seems that the front diff engages soon as my rear tires spin while in 2×4..I don’t like it doing that when it’s not necessary..really I only want 4wd when I engage it..wondering if this is a common issue or what..
PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!! Ok first time on the forum. I recently bought a 07 420 rancher Es when I got the bike the Es would work only loud noise from shift motor but bike cranked and ran fine ordered new shift motor went to install and now I have no power to my efi coul or switch buttons. I’ve just replaced shift angle sensor tried two different batteries swapped the voltage regulator from another bike and no change. I have 12 volts to the coil but only .08 to the fuel pump my efi and temp gauge come on when ign switch is cut on along with the neutral light but nothing from fuel pump all fuses are replaced cleaned every plug I can see and still no change any help would be greatly appreciated I know they’re a few discussions on this but can’t seem to get any of the tips to work
Recently my ATV was rolled and it destroyed the gauge cluster. We replaced it with a used from from ebay. The speedo, gears, hours etc all appear to work but the fuel does not.
Right now I am not 100% sure if the issue the fuel sending unit or if there is something wrong with the used Speedo.
I read before that if you unhook the fuel pump wires and ground out the middle pin that it would show full. With it unhooked it would show empty. (I think I have that correct). Anyway when I have mine unhooked there is nothing listed for the fuel. When I ground the middle wire it flashes full but does not show full it flashes.
When it is hooked up the gauge either reads empty (regardless of amount of fuel in the tank) or when driving it will flash just like it does if I ground out the middle wire.
My question to the people here is do you think something is wrong with the sending unit or do you think something is wrong with the speedo gauge cluster? I wish I had another cluster to plug in to test but I do not and I do not want to order another one if the issue isn’t the cluster.
Any help on trouble shooting this would be greatly appreciated.
