I just bought a 2016 rubicon and I decided to install some heated grip, but I just can’t figure how to remove the cap at both end off the handke bar. Looks like you can insert an allen key in there but I’m not able to turn it.
Hey everyone, new to the site. Am wondering who makes a winch plate for the 2014 700 grizzly ? Bought a new champion winch for less then $49.95 black friday sales. Of course it came with a plate to mount onto the winch, but not to mount to the atv.
Now before anyone gets crazy, I have 2 sportsman 500’s that I enjoy. My question, which engine in the Polaris lineup could match a king quad 700 efi. I’m talking in throttle feel, smoothness, engine noise (lack there of as the Suzuki is engine is quiet), factory exhaust note (the Suzuki is sweet sounding from the factory), and power band.
Only reason I am asking is the neighbor just got a KQ 700 and the motor is awesome. By far the best 700cc I’ve been around and I have tried most.
So hello while ago i bought yamaha kodiak 400 4×4, the previous owner was a crazy drug addict and i got it for like 150pounds in uk then i got it to my country latvia when i was buying it he told me its completely dead. So it was kinda dead, it needed a CDI block i have a known electrician to me, who took one from some chinese 200cc atv and and made it so it works on my quad btw its 4×4 semi automatic with foot shift 5 speeds 1997 or 1998 year it has a hand shifter too for High, Low, Reverse, so i changed oil, got a new battery and air filter, ahh and changed oil filter too. i also adjusted valves, so lets start with problems i have
1st when i shift into gear and quad is cold nothin happens like it should be i think i can put in gears and not move and start moving only when i press gas but after a while theres a problem i either start accelerating or it will die, so basicaly it wants to move when i put in gear if i dont throttle it will die and if i put in reverse it will start moving by itself and there is no way to stop only if i turn the quad off. maybe anyone knows whats the problem with gear
2nd top end speed is about 50km/h but it must be around 75-85km/h
and acceleration is very weak too when i start accelerating it moves slowly i cant even do a lil burnout(i hope u understood what i meant)
and when i got in a bit deeper snow like 70% of tires height i couldnt even get out.
sorry for my english but i would apreciate any help
ive cleaned my carb for like 3 times in a row now and tried adjusting it at one moment my quad went up to 60km/h but then acceleration was even weaker
and it feels like engine is choking when accelerating
btw that crazy man had it running on Gas i dont mean the diesel/benzin but a gas like cars use it reductor n shit i hope u understood(propan or whatever gas)
Hey guys, I got inlove with the new Outlander L 570 XMR. I have got an very good offer from my dealer and I am going to buy it. But I start wondering about the power, I had an Outlander 800xt 2006 and I really enjoyed the pleasure of that power and now I can not take a decision about this XMR, it will be a big difference between them ? Is it a good ideea to get an 570 after an 800?
The problem is that the old 800 had 68hp and this new 570 has 48hp and I think it is not such a big difference, what do you all think?
I have a 2011 Rubicon/trail edition that is getting harder to shift back into neutral if it is shut down while in gear. Sometimes rocking the unit will get it back to neutral for a start but it is getting more and more difficult..
Is there an external adjustment that is causing this ??? or what..??
