I currently run a vforcejohn Primary on my 2015 can am outlander 1000 xmr. Has anyone done anything to their Secondary to get more performance? I have asked about installing a Stm, but told it’s not worth the $ on the 1000 xmr.
I heard a stiffer secondary spring and/or shallower helix helps. Has anyone had good luck doing this?
Reason I ask is I participated in in a mudpit event and I did better than most, but 3 of the same Atvs had different clutching and they pulled through the deeper areas much better. I do have a PC5 installed too.
So i am thinking about going to an amusement park one day and ride at a park near by the next. I am not worried so much about traveling with it but am a little worried about leaving it in the bed of my truck while i am in the park all day.
What are some safety precautions you guys take when leaving your atv in the bed of your truck, if any??

I was moving my 850sp around the other day getting things ready for a trip next weekend and I left the quad on my trailer over night to be transported with me to work in the morning and I had left the parking brake on.
The next morning i went to move it off the trailer at the shop and noticed the brake lever felt kinda squishy. Normally I can’t squeeze it to the bar, but it squeezed right down to the bar, I assumed it was because i left the parking brake engaged and stretched the lines (I realized that doesn’t make any sense, polaris uses nice stainless lines). Sure enough after a couple minutes the brakes went back to normal, very very stiff brake lever.
Since then though, I noticed that at random the brakes will get squishy and go to the bar, then I’ll release them and try again and they’ll be rock solid again. I consulted a good friend of mine who’s been riding and maintaining Polaris sleds and ATV’s his entire 34 years of existence, he seems to feel it’s a check valve in the master cylinder not doing it’s job all the time. He said he had a similar experience once on his father 2012 850XP, but it cleared up and they never pursued it.
There’s no sign of leaks and the reservoir appears to be full, has anyone else ever experienced this?
Thank you for allowing me to ask this question. I know there are a lot over VERY experienced ATV/Quad/etc. folks in this forum, and I am certainly not one of them .
So, we have a place we share with some friends, down on the beach in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. We also store our 2 quads down there, and never bring them back to the States.
Our last trip down, my nephew got sideways screwing around on the our 2005 Honda Rancher (electric shift/4×4) and crashed it into our block garage.
By the Grace of God, he was not seriously hurt, however the bike took a beating, flipped, etc. The main damage was to the entire front suspension, frame, etc. It’s completely un-drivable.
So, my question is: "What would be a reasonable ‘re-sell" value for basically parts??
Meaning, a non-drivable Honda Rancher with good electronics, engine, transmission, tires, cosmetics, etc, etc. Everything other than basically a trashed front frame?
So much appreciate your responses. — And, keep in mind this will be selling to either Americans down in Mexico, or to locals/Mexicans down there.
I heard some rumors about new regulations in Europe from 1/1/2017. The story is the following:
I visited the local dealer in Cyprus for Can Am to do some questions and I left a little confused. He told me that the regulation are changed and that from 1/1/2017 none off road vehicle will be able to registered as road legal. He told me also that all companies may make changes at the future to make possible the registration again but that will take 2 to 3 years or more.
Can you please delight me about this.
What is true and what is not?
What companies are planning for those changes?
My purpose to buy one, of course is off road but I want to be able to drive it at my area, or on the way to trails.
What is T3 regulation that the off road must change to that version to be able to register for the road?
I’m planning to buy an Renegade X xc but next year and I want to know a few things.
One other thing, the 570cc x Xc is enough for just having fun?
Last question, I know that Renegade is for one, but I have seen a lot videos on youtube with two on. I wanted to know if for a relaxed ride I can take a second person on with total 130kg both.
