Hello all
I have an 08 outlander 500 and it was stalling after about 30 minutes of riding. I posted in the form before and everyone was pointing at the fuel pump. I haven’t been out this year yet and when I went to start it up the battery was dead. I boosted it and got it running. Went for about a 10 minute drive. Pulled it in the shop shut it off, put my fuel pressure gauge on it and flipped on the key. Had 40 psi. But it wouldn’t turn over. Boosted it again, got it running and had 51 psi. Would the problems before be caused by a bad battery?
Also have a leaky water pump. Going to tackle that next.
Thanks
Hey guys just got back from an Iron county WI. ride, and having problems with the Grizzly. About 4 miles from where we parked the machine started feeling sluggish. I stopped, and put it in natural. Got behind it, and tried to push it. The rear tires would drag then roll a little and then drag again. Some thing was locking up. Got it back on the trailer and couldn’t get it out of high gear. It’s a 2015 700 eps. Now only having 65 miles (60 were put on on this ride). Just bought it new this past January. So does any Wisconites in the dodge county recommend a dealer that I can take it to. This is my first Yamaha. Hopefully what ever is wrong is covered by the warrenty. Oh do you think after market tires (kenda bear claws Htr factory size) and ITP 5s will void my warrenty? Thanks Joe.

The 12v auxiliary outlet on the left side of my headlight doesn’t work. I attempted to reference the wiring diagram and that didn’t help me out much at all. I was wondering if these are known to just quit working over the years due to the elements or if there is possibly a fuse or some other simple solution that may have caused it to quit working. Any help that can be offered is appreciated. Thanks!
Hello! I’m in the process of changing the oil and filter, trans fluid and front and rear gear case lube. The question I have, is what Polaris products do I actually need? I’m not looking for a cross reference for a cheaper product, I’m looking for the actual Polaris product. I’ve read the manual, but it appears to be quite outdated as far as the products are concerned. I have deciphered that AGL is used for the trans and possibly Angle Drive for the front gear case? Is AGL also used for the rear gear case on this year and model or is it another product? I have spent hours and hours scouring through forums looking for the right answer and I’ve just ended up more confused than when I started! I would also be open to any advice on changing the fluids as the manual didn’t do the best job describing the location of everything. But the first order of business is just going to be getting the correct material for the job! Thanks for all of the help!
Hey – I just picked up a Renegade with a Ron Woods exhaust and this thing is louder than a dump truck filled with dynamite driving through a fertilizer factory.
I regularly ride through national forrest and state areas where the rangers check sound levels. I ordered the Supertrapp end cap with the discs and I was wondering how many discs you guys are using to quiet the beast. I need to be at 96db or less.
