416ex starting issues

I have an 02 416ex with recent rebuild. Has weisco crank, cp racing 416 kit 12.5.1, new head and valves, hot cam stage 2, new timing chain. Was running great then just died. Timing is good, getting spark fuel and air. I can block off the intake by hand and it will fire right up that way and run with very little gap to draw air through. Remove hand or try with filter and it wont even attempt to start or stay running. Carb looks really clean. Any thoughts what happened or would cause this?

New member from central PA!

Hello one and all!

I have been a Can Am enthusiast for a few years now. Istarted with an 06 800XT then upgraded to a 12′ XMR and man is that thing a blast to ride! I don’t get to ride as much as I would like to but hey that’s life right? I decided to join the forum because experience is always a good place to start when your unsure of something. If there is anyone else out there from central Pennsylvania that rides and is looking for new people to go along with or add to their group I would like to hear from you. Most of the people I use to ride with either sold their machines or just don’t talk to us anymore. So thanks for your time and I hope to learn more as time goes on!

Ridiculous pricing on rear carrier frame?

STAY, FRONT CARRIER 1 (1HP-F4821-00-00): $33.19
FRAME, CARRIER 1 (1HP-F482J-00-00): $283.50

Seriously?! You gotta be kidding me!!

Those are basically the same part. Why is one $33, and the other $283?

Any options besides ebay and crossing my fingers?
I have a friend with a welding rig, I guess I’ll be talking to him.

Negative Camber Issues

Went to a set of 26" Swamp Lite’s on my ’07 450 Sportsman. They are only slightly fatter than the factory front tires, but as a result of negative camber, they are rubbing against my tie rod ends and tearing the boots apart. I tried adding a couple washers to the wheel lugs to space it a bit, but no success. Is this a strut spring wear issue? Will going to a set of HD Polaris springs solve this issue, or should I look at wheel spacers? I don’t want to drop money into something that isn’t going to work.

Thanks.

AWD switch location = Bad

I’ve never liked the switch location on Polaris for the AWD since I got the ETX. It finally came to a head earlier this week and today. I’ve been trying to put some hours on it, and earlier this week while riding aggressively my finger hit the switch knocking it into AWD. Then it happened again a little later. After the second time I adjusted the throttle location. It made my thumb hurt before and tire but now it’s much better. However, riding today I had it happen again. It always happens when I let off the gas when I’m going over bumps. Just wondering if anyone else agrees or has had this happen?
